Well, yes, these are things that players did request, even if they don't have a lot of hype potential. Though perhaps hype potential shouldn't be the priority... And it's certainly the case that if people want the occasional huge update - such as Make-All - they'll have to accept that it means less time for other things. If we committed to putting out more stuff every single week, it'd mean we could never offer the bigger things players request.

Taking questions from the live chat is not something we just do 'cos Archie ran out of questions. If anything, I'd like to take more from the live audience rather than less. As for why your particular questions didn't get asked, I'm afraid he's never going to be able to fit them all in - even though we overran last night - and I'd invite you to consider that calling him "pompous archie" may not be helping.

I answered that one on Twitter this morning already, actually. Yes, if we want to push more traffic to that boss, taking the "junk" drops out seems to be a popular way of going about it.

Just be patient. Sure, this update might not be what you was expecting but I can assure you that someone else will benefit from this update. Updates aren't always going to please everyone. Gargoyle boss will come when it's ready.

Just because the design of the boss is finished, doesn't mean the whole project is ready to be released. Patients my friend :)

Firstly, it's not finished. It needs code.

I'm sorry to see a small update is apparently so infuriating to you, but it's not realistic for the team to pump out medium/large things every single week; if we're going to agree to deliver large requests like new Slayer bosses and the rewrite of skills required for Make-All, and Fossil Island, I'm afraid the flip-side of the coin is that you get a bit less other stuff in between.

Will the Grotesque Guardians also be appointed as a slayer task from Steve?

And is it possible to see a PvP poll #2 after Fossil island? With a revamped version of the forinthy dungeon in the wilderness. Everyone loved revenants but it doesn't mean they have to drop new armour just the statues allone would be nice these you could hand in at the wilderness guy in edgeville! :D

I agree Ash huge updates do take time i accept that but we haven't had a huge update in 3months and tbh the updates lately when you weren't here were hardly inspiring.

P.S I stand by what i said about Archie ok but its my opinion and im pretty good judge of people hence im respectful to you stone kieran (him cos hes a geordie like me lol)

It's true that more stuff can get done when more of us are at work, yeah. Fortunately I've promised not to get married again (literally - it's one of the wedding vows) so that's one fewer reason for me to take time off in future.

You're always entitled to have opinions. Though, depending on how you choose to exhibit them, other people may start forming opinions of their own about you :P

Can we get dungeonering skill back in the game ? And all the rewards only usable in pvm or something.. i loved the skill it was the best skill ever please think of repolling this i begg you. And i heard you guys talk about nex i hope it gets back aswell with maybe different drops if people are crying about it.. but i am sure it will be a lot harder without potion flasks and turmoil summoning and chaotics. Please poll this

Recreating RS3's skills is generally an unfeasibly large job. It took weeks to recreate the Corp, and that only had about a dozen models and a few animations. Dungeoneering - as we've said before - is rather larger. While you ask us to "repoll" it, please note that if we can't do something, polling is not going to make it magically become possible. Nex isn't as big as that skill, but many of her most significant mechanics are not readily recreatable in the OSRS game engine.
