I know it's usually taboo to discuss about bots on forums, but i believe this is very important. And possibly something that the Mods should discuss to ensure us that bots will not find a safe haven in mobile platform.
But can the current Bot Detection system still be efficient in detecting mobile Runescape bots whether it by them using their actual mobile device or an emulated mobile OS on their pc?
I would assume mouse movement, mouse speed pattern etc plays a key part in how efficient the current bot detection is. But can it still function 100 percent when you remove all those elements on a click base platform?
I know this is a touchy topic, but can we please get an answer on the upcoming Q/A.
They've already caught players trying to sneakily bot/macro through mobile devices / remote access tools in the past, so I don't see why it would be harder to detect through OS mobile

As a 2002 Veteran I have always dreamed that this would be possible, we should all be excited!
Some of the positives for me are:
-AFK'ing some of my least favorite skills to have a more rounded character!
-More people will be making pures with there downtime thus making the wild more lively!
-more economy will grow stronger and overall wealth will increase due to the supplies being used at a faster rate!
-Watching old Skilling methods come back to life and profitable again!
A big thank you to all the guys and girls behind this that made this idea a reality I'm sure it wasn't easy!
Also:
I'm reading alot of post about botting through mobile devices, I wouldn't worry about it too much guys and here is why
Anytime there is a update that gives those smucks a upper hand there is a boom in bots but Jagex has the best of the best always patching things and making our RS experience better for us. I'm actually looking forward to when kids try to bot because on
other mobile games they can perm ban cell phones and thus the would need to buy a new phone to even play OSRS Mobile

Few are True
I'm interested to see how this is going to affect training. I know using my mouse it's near impossible for me to enchant jewelry at the same speed as the animation.. but being on a touch screen and just clicking over and over the only thing to slow us down will be animations.
It's also going to be interesting trying to add in a right click on a platform that has one form of clicking.. perhaps it'll be a click and hold for right click? dropping stuff is going to be frustrating.
All in all i'm excited for this to come out, and have applied for the beta testing on both new and oldschool runescape. Fingers crossed here on out for a great platform to play RS coming to mobile devices.
