The drop rate is fine considering you retards forgot the fact you have to get the 3 totem pieces which are rare drops in themselves at different monsters in the catacombs. Stop complaining and go slay and you'll get your pet and helmet. If you start from 0 totems it could be 150ish hours before you get a pet dependent on RNG, but to hit the actual rate and other factors taken into account.

Why would an Onyx be common that defeats the purpose of having to collect tokkul or the runes to sell them for one.
