Trashiest update I've seen in awhile. The OSRS team was finished training slayer so they decided to move all this bullshit around to make it harder for the actual players. Thanks OSRS team! you're so fucking great!
Lol

Worst update I've seen for slayer in a long time.
Thanks for making me quit again.
RIP stupid ass update.

Dude quit. Don't believe the conspiracy... it's total bullshit. They let all of the staff max their slayer and then when they're done. Get rid of the Cave... you have to travel to their dumbass new continent just to get to Lesser/greater/black demons... LIKE ARE YOU LITERALLY SERIOUS! Why would you relocate something as useless and trivial as demons??? NO ONE FUCKING DOES THEM! It's an empty piece of shit chasm... I've had so much faith in this dev team. And now they're just cancer....

I'll explain it for you. You simply don't tell somebody "hey here's an efficient way to train your slayer to 99 have at it" and then tell them three years later after everyone has already gotten high slayer levels conveniently from Nieve's cave "lol sorry kids we're gonna go ahead and make this less efficient for people who have been consistently and conveniently training slayer in Nieve's cave. hahaha we really want you to waste time walking around and exploring the map that you've probably already seen for 10+ years"

It's not so much that its literally headed towards rs3, but its the mindset rs2 had when becoming rs3. Setting people back after giving them so much, making things less efficient so that its "challenging"... It's a huge slap in the face to people who are going to be training slayer in the future, knowing that players in the past have been given the privilege of training in Nieve's cave so efficiently. You just don't do that to people.

It's only really a slap in the face to the instant gratification crowd.. which, IMO, is what put the original game on the fast track to hell so no harm no foul.

Your complaint seems to boil down to.. other peeps had it easier than I did so that's not fair, waahh!!

This has nothing to do with instant gratification. It has everything to do with Jagex giving older players special privileges(Nieve's Cave) and then taking them away from the newer players or people who never got around to training slayer until now.

Yeah that's only half of my complaint. You seem to leave the part out where I said people have had the opportunity to conveniently train to 99 slayer with the cave, so why take it away from new people when older players got to use it?

B/c 75% of voters supported doing just that.

Is there any way that you guys will put a place back to kill blue dragons because you guys just got rid of them and made it harder to kill them by taking all the spawns away and not adding new ones. Taverly cave is always crowded anyways so now im forced to go to heros guild and kill the 1 there

This was completely misleading result, if re-polled to what they actually did it would have failed miserably.

I voted yes for it thinking they allowed us to teleport directly to each cave beforehand and this would remain the case once they were split up. If they had of specifically noted the fact no teleport to the new caves would be available and running across the map would be a necessary component then no way am I voting yes to it.

The same can be said for many others who voted yes, this poll doesn't get close to passing if the truth is told before the update.

Nope, that don't fly. The devblog told us where we'd find those additional dungeons, and did so before the poll.

I voted 'yes' to it.. BECAUSE it split up that one-stop-slayer-shop.. and I'd guess I'm not the only one who did.

The obvious lesson to be learned here (for at least some peeps) is that you should fully inform yourself and not blindly vote yes to everything.. think about the impact on the game, before you just close your eyes and say 'without updates the game will die' lol.
