I guess that's what the system was able to handle after its last expansion. As the chat systems of OSRS are linked inextricably to the other RS, etc., it's not something we can so easily get changed in their game engine on demand. The same issue can also restrict what we're able to do with chat-channels (which is quite relevant to today's update).

You'll be awarded loot if you got to the end of the raid, and had contributed to the team's progress. It might be one of the unique items, or it might just be a little something to help recompense you for the supplies you might have brought in.
