After doing some slayer yesterday and this morning i've come to the thoughts that this is pretty disappointing, especially in the fact that you can make 1mil at a 180 kurask task with constant decent drops (Even with stuff going down because of this update), yet a monster such as abyssal demons - while it has a superior encounter it's primary drop is just the whip which is at a very very big low... 100 kills into an abyssal task i have had 2 abyssal ensouled heads and no other decent loot, yet on a gargoyle task of 150 i had a runite item every ten kills with supplies to boot... not to mention the flow of cash that will be coming into the game due to just throwing in 10k coin stack drops. Not even 10,543 or something but straight up 10,000.... that seems really REALLY lazy to me.
It simply makes no sense to me have a task such as kurasks, or dust devils which I consider a lower level task to give more gp\hr over time than monsters like abyssal demons dropping things like black axes and steel battleaxes and the rare shot of a 1.7m whip, half of what it used to be for a casual slayer anyway.
My point shortened: I enjoy updates like this being quality of life and bringing life back into older content but instead of leaving most of the skill dry and polishing SOME aspects of it, why didn't you re-assign different drop table loots to higher tiered monsters and actually balance it in the way it should have been? (Scaled in a linear way)
Just feels like you could have done much, much more. Please consider some adjustments, from a person who's amassed 33million slayer experience on this account and my alt. It's probably my favorite skill in terms of gameplay and chilling out, and as I said while I did enjoy that you added monetary value to some of the more off putting tasks - i don't feel you payed attention enough to how you scaled it and what the higher levelled monsters give to us who earned those levels. It's just a bit too much.
