I think an applause might be in order for the oldschool team, regarding their way of handling feedback.

I however do not think we need replacement rewards for insignias, the current amount of rewards is -in my opinion- great enough to make raids worthwhile.

I would rather have a second minigame/boss later this year or next year to add the replacement rewards to the game. Spread them out; keep everything relevant.

Can we get these prayers:

-Endurance - lv 55: Boosted stats last 20% longer

-Divine Blessing- lv 60: overhead prayer that increase the chance of you getting a better farm: yield, finding a bird nest, finding gems, finding a fish casket by 20%

-Ultra Rapid Restore- lv 65: restore hp at 3x the speed while draining 4 prayer pt ever 7sec.

-Perserve- Lv 70: Running drain prayer instead of run energy while reducing the duration of teleblock and stuns by 10%

-Augury- lv 74: magic/defence boosted by 25%

-Rigour- lv 77: boosted range atk 20%, Range str 23% and def 25%.

-Purification- Lv 80: Poison/venom will drain prayer instead of hitpoint also will heal
you.poison=heal 2, -4ppt/ venom= heal 4, -6ppt. prayer drain 2 pt ever 14sec.

-Unbreakable Will- lv 85: Increase defence by 50% while lowering all combat stat by 30%. Food will also heal for 15% more.

Also maybe some new combat spells for the necromancy spellbook

Raids would be a perfect opportunity to finally release a weapon for the magic skill.


Melee has gotten 3 with the dragon sword making 4 while range just got the ballista. Mages are still stuck with the staff of the dead as being the only viable option for PvP which was released way back with GWD.

There are actually several options of what can be done, but I believe by far the easiest and most balanced would be simply a PvP trident or a upgrade component to allow the existing trident to be used. It could change it to "Trident of Lava" or something.

There are several reasons for this:

1. By KO potential being dependent on venge, a mage would be losing all of their utility. So balance issues with tb, ice barrage, etc is of no concern. As long as the accuracy is kept reasonably low on this, other choices would be superior for such spells.

2. Minimal impact on hybriding/warring. Refer to above.

3. We already have a weapon which comes somewhat close to being semi valuable when used with venge. (black salamander) So the damage range that it should have is already known minimizing dev time in balancing. It should be higher than salamander, lower than staff of the dead.

4. By being a separate weapon or a separate upgrade component, Trident of the Swamp would still be PvM only which is important since its dps would be so similar to SoT* even with casting speed reduced.

Whatever is done, we can't be limited to staff of the dead forever. A new wep shouldn't be better, but it should be viable. Lower dps, higher KO potential (which being able to venge would provide) is the way to accomplish this.

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

1) add an soul gorger scythe this will be a 2handed scythe that feeds of souls of your slain victims. when you first get it has a drop it almost the same stat has an addy 2h but you got to collect souls and charge it to a level above dragon.

2) Curse arrows these will be the first arrows in game with special effect they will be better than dragon arrows. If you uses them with dark bow spec it will animate skeleton dragon heads instead with green smoke.

3) Screaming Stroked Head this is an off hand prayer version of the defence that will cause monsters to be attracted to you.

The other thing is they didnt even give much info on them like:

Are they degrade able?
How long do they last?
What is needed to charge them? and so on.

I would love to see Gilded Defenders put into the game as a cosmetic override or a rare drop from warriors guild. Not sure if anyone has said this idea before. Not a raid idea but its an idea.
