Why not make the dragon platebody be seperated into 2 pieces? Like the bludgeon, you would require 3 pieces to make the platebody: a dragon chainbody, and 2 additional pieces coming from raids. And then, you could only make it on a special furnace/anvil with a high smithing requirement? - As some guy mentioned I agree this would mean that the dragon chainbody would not become useless either, although maybe just having 1 additional drop from raids to add to the chain body.. As for the special furnace, wouldn't this be a nice excuse to open the mithril door by the dragons?

I think for the defence insignia I have a few ideas though they are all mostly the same.

1: When wearing degradable armor, have X% chance to not lose any durability for the next X amount of attacks.

I would think with how it's somewhat slow for degradable armor to break as is this would still be weak, so perhaps a decent chance along the lines of maybe 15% to activate and maybe for the next 5 hits taken to not take durability.

2: When hit while wearing the insignia have X% chance to block 100% of the damage received.

Similar to how a protection prayer may work. On top of that, maybe on a cooldown of for example 10 seconds, while using protection prayers if the effect activates to block damage you recover X amount of prayer points since the insignia does the same thing as a protection prayer against NPC*.

I wouldn't have the prayer points effect activate if hit by an enemy that can hit through protection prayers already, and the insignia effect activates.

3: When hit have X% chance to recover X% of the damage recieved.

For example: If you get hit for 50 damage, and the let's say 10% chance activates. You'll recover 50% of the damage taken and heal 25 health. I don't know how useful this could actually be with it being so random but it still would be better then nothing at all.

as a small side note: To make it actually used, don't release the defence insignia without something added as a special effect. +5 to defence stats doesn't seem to great compared to the other insignias and without a good special effect added on no one would use it more then likely.

Please make zeah dungeon cool and unique. Something like, need 40 man + people, really good new armor and weapons because it takes so many people and a team.


I have some ideas that would change runescape forever and would be super cool. Like boss number one, you need to be brewed 115/99 hp and have a tank, the boss hits 99 damage and
you need lunar healers to heal your tank.


Boss #2 Range damage boss.

You have to pray range but he still hits through range prayer sometimes 30+ damage. The boss changes colors i guess, green and blue, when he's green he can be damaged by range when blue he can be damaged by magic.


Boss #3 Kiting boss.

The boss overall hits too fast. There are 4 pillars in this square room one in each corner. You have to lure her to each corner and entangle her and she can then be damaged. Each pillar will make her damagable only for 50 seconds each then you have to lure her to another pillar. :)


Jagex should make a healing class. Healing class is PVM only. For now lunar magic and healing will work i guess and still make dungeon unique and very cool.

I have been a heavy supporter of many updates, but I strongly dislike this one.
Put a halt to this, please.

- In General, don't like the idea of raids. Feels way to complicated and doesn't fit into the game content and world we live/play in. There are some ideas in this blog that are nice, though.
- Kodai Robes are fine if they ever were to make an introduction. It makes sense to have magic combat also have high level non-barrows items similar to bandos-dharok, torag... and armadyl-karil/void.
- Dragon items: the sword is a nice dragon addition. A new dragon item like this is always a little nice. But throwing axes and a platebody as well? No, that's just too much. Why throw everything in there at once? There's no balance.
- Prayer: all right, nothing too bad. It's kind of nice to see this kind of new prayers being added. I wouldn't mind if they were introduced to the game. I don't know about 'scrolls' and 'buying on G.E.' the prayers tbh... It all seems a bit odd.
- Insignia: doesn't fit into osrs. Besides that: the magic one is way too op. The defense could act as a ring of life as well, a long with a slight buff in the defensive stats.

Just remember everyone, be very constructive with this update. We need it to be perfect enough for the majority of the players (sorry ironmen/ironwomen) to play without feeling overwhelmed. Also, for those that don't use Reddit, take a peak at some of the top posts about this update and read the proposed ideas other players have. The more brains we have working on this update the better for everyone. :)
