I wish there was a lootshare system, i loved being low level and in a 10 mans masses :>
We need a Grand Exchange for that one
.
We don't need a Grand Exchange to split up the loot. Grand Exchange is for coin share to determine the value of an item to split among the group. Lootshare just distributes items to people. No need for a Grand Exchange for that.
Thats wrong sorry, LSP (Lootshare potential) is used to determine fair sharing of the drops. The amount of LSP a player gets was also determined by GE value. Before you say "then use alch values", im going to remind you that Hilts only alch for 50k, while shards alch for more than double that.
So it would be either extremely time consuming for jagex to code a price for every single drop in the game into lsp, or extremely unfair due to non-equal splitting of actual value of loot.

Rather than using the GE value of the loot, is it not true that instead they could use the alch price of each item?
