Like others have mentioned, couldn't you purposely try to get yourself transported to one of these worlds & then do non-botted activities with no competition from real players? Wildy skilling without pkers, for example.

Here's a potential abuse case I thought of in like thirty seconds:

Step 1. Wait for the wilderness rejuvination update.

Step 2. Play like you're botting so you get sent to one of these worlds.

Step 3. Enjoy tons of wilderness resources that bots won't be at, as well as having no risk of PKers logging in to kill you (how often will a PKer be flagged for botting? Never.).

Of course you could replace step three with any other similar not-botted but player-heavy resource.

That is something that we did think about. However, if players are getting themselves sent to these worlds to take advantage of the Wilderness resources you can bet your bottom dollar that PKers will find their way there too. As for other non-botted resources, I'd expect other worlds to be just as convenient to use. If this turns out not to be the case, we can turn features off, but I'd rather not do that unless we have to.

Second,
EDIT: doesn't sound like it would work as bots can program themselves to leave that world like a normal player?

They can do that, but then they'll just be sent back again. If a bot wants to spend all it's time hopping worlds...

surely that won't be as effective now hopping is instant...

It depends how long it takes us to identify the possible bots, but in many cases it should be almost instantaneous. We'll be keeping an eye on it though.

What about bots that are changing worlds as a matter of course, shopping bots or Blast Furnace bots for example change worlds very often ?
Ha ha, made you look ;)

So is this system almost ready to roll out or is there a bit to do before it is implemented? In other words when can this be combat ready?

We're hoping to launch it on Thursday.

Again these are ones we can move to these worlds. But we'll be watching these closely to see how they develop.

When the bots are sent to these special worlds, what then? Are they banned or just left in an infinite loop logging worlds?

There seems to be no downside to them being in these special worlds.. They can get their resources like they always have. Is the update more to give legit players a chance at resources then to actually catch bots?
