Well clan wars WILL NOT be dangerous so if clans want to have battles where players loose their items they will have to enter the wilderness.


I understand that. It will still provide a place for clans to have organized fights outside of the wilderness, which means one less fight taking place there. That was the main problem and concern with the update, not whether or not people lose their items.

At least the impact would be minimized if you put the lobby in a place like Mage Bank because it could liven up deep wilderness\Mage Bank activity. The lever to the wilderness would effectively act as the Red Portal that way for those who want to have dangerous fights.

Whatever though, can't say I had my hopes up much anyways.

Also implying that people who want to go to clan wars would walk through 55 wild in their gear.

The argument that it would reduce wild activity is stupid, more than likely those who would be at clan wars wouldn't be pking in the wild anyway.

Not implying that at all. Even if people walked to the arena with no gear on or if a teleport was added that would be fine. I don't think you're fully understanding what i'm saying. In my suggestion the lever to the outside of Mage Bank would simply act as the Red Portal did, offering a place for dangerous 1v1 fights. This would in turn bring some activity from clan wars directly to the wilderness as people are having single fights there. This way it could appeal to both groups, the people wanting safe CWA and those wanting minimal impact on wilderness activity.

This isn't really an opinion, we know this from history. It's true that others who may not have otherwise pked in the wild may go to CW, but that doesn't mean everyone , or even a majority of those who have fights there falls under this category

I'm pretty sure that's implying clan wars has significant impact on wilderness activity.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm implying. As is 90% of the PvP clan community. Again, we know this first hand from the first time around. This isn't some new idea that hasn't been tried before. It existed for years so for the most part we know the sort of effect it will likely have.
