Why have we not had the snow globe as a reward? I would of thought this would have been a great rare to put into old school, please add snow globe to the reward list as this is the only item I feel we are missing.

As much as I want to say good idea, I can't. I just can't. A black Santa hat and an inverted Santa hat? A few color changes to an existing item? Can we please at least try to keep the game interesting and preserve the life of OSRS? We have a Santa hat. We do not need three colors of Santa hats. Switch things up, get at least a little ounce of creativity cooking.

Decorate the banks with Christmas lights. Turn Varrock into a Christmas wonderland with different events and rewards. Have the huge tree in the center with a present that you can open for a reward. Anything. Make it random. Have a random item(s) in the box that could be valued at a cap of 250k, for example. Turn the existing stands into different stands. Have one with stockings with a surprise inside. Maybe cookies at a different table that give 50% run regeneration with a cap limit of 10 cookies. Using an existing NPC from Varrock middle or create another one that sells a few Christmas items that player's can decorate their houses with. Add a small "Holiday Storage" chest in the bank for holiday items. Wreaths, trees, lights, a snowman, stockings, snow, presents. Anything. Possibly 5 different items that can be bought for decoration. Possibly a Christmas drink item? Edible candy cane that can be eaten in 3 pieces. Have a farming item that can be grown throughout the month of December. Hidden tree ornaments that can be exchanged for other items. Turn the carpet in Al Kharid into a sleigh where you can "non-existent presents" out of. Tree in each city with a possible reward. Have a 25 days of Christmas "candy" box that you can open once a day with a random surprised capped at 50k (for example). Bankers with Santa hats, Happy Holiday's edited RuneScape login, Christmas themed bank UI for month of December.

There are so many possibilities, yet the team landed on adding 2 more Santa hat's with different colors..? Spice it up. Happy Holidays.

Said the same thing in my post earlier(page4) and what about the ice amulet that lets you summon your snow imp buddy outside of the holiday?

. As (Mr Shotzz) said there is plenty of things you could do
But
you may or may not have time this year... idk. I did miss a
Thanksgiving Event
but like I said... you may be short on time?

I don't know how hard this would be but... how about modifying the (
Wintumber tree
) so people can decorate it to their liking??
Like blinking lights or glowing tree topper star or or or ... yes... the imagination is a Nation that is unsurpassed ^_^

are we ever going to be able to go meet the real santa clause or have we already because I would love a Christmas event where we can travel to the north pole to meet the real santa clause and there we can work in the factory,we could have new slayer monsters which would be ice monsters attacking santas workshops and such, where were suppose to fight off things like that and get rewarded slayer experience.if you fight off the enemies atleast a certain amount yourself you get rewarded slayer experience/a reindeer you can put in your menagerie in your house/a massive festive Christmas tree to put in you house as well/a one-time sleigh-ride around gielinor/maybe a look at zeah/whatever other ideas people can come up for this.

I would love to see this as a Christmas event.

Such a shame that "Rares" are turned int common's. Nobody cares about them anymore. And as said above please focus on the christmas atmosphere: Changing varrock is a good idea with christmas lights, snow and everything. We don't care about 5 different types of santa hat. Actually, we don't care about the santa hat at all anymore as its just common nowadays.

I love the idea's of the Ice Blue Skin, Snow Globe, and the wieldable Candy Cane. I agree with some of the stuff that Mr Shotzz had suggested. Like the entire month of December, have some time of mini Christmas event happen or even see the bankers wearing Santa hats. So let's try to get the hats with the three excellent suggestions other players had made.

Overall, I'm excited that OSRS is getting some form of updates all of the time and I'm really pleased with how hard you guys work and bring us constant updates to keep it going. Keep up with the hard work Jagex.

i think the
ice blue skin
will depend on how many more skin colour "spots" are avaible in the engine for it...cuz in the stream a day or two ago, a Mod talked about that....But if the engine supports more skins atm, that would indeed be a very good idea.

Also i don't like the point about the santa hats in a differend colour...it's just too normal/boring my dear Jagex. Change that idea up a bit if u want ;o?

Why not an
elf hat
instead of a
santa hat
? ( like the sleeping hat from back in the days, kinda that look but then
red
/
green
colours )... if you would want you could add an
elf
costume
too.

Also why not a
candy cane staff
that could like have a
snowwy emote
if u operate it or make it able to
summon a pet as long as u have the staff equipped
... ( staff would be as big as a normal battle staff ).... Or a candy cane staff and a snow globe on top of the staff...

So that's just my opinion about the santa hats just being recoloured and two of my ideas that i'd love....or anything in that genre.
