Encouraging people to train skills does have the side-effect that they may get lots of resources. However I don't think we should avoid ever doing updates to existing skills.

Pets weren't added to the code for assisting with mining/chopping/fishing on Miscellania or Etceteria, no.

Yes. Same chance as if the tree were not in your farming patch.

Your chance is higher if your level is higher. And yes, they're very rare.

I'm not sure if anyone has brought this up, but in DMM every now and then my clan would run into people that can logout while in combat or logout instantly after going up/down a ladder or staircase.

Is there a hidden item/bug abuse happening here? I'm pretty sure there's a 10s timer for all teleport items and whatnot and having this sort of method exist is simply unfair.

That's certainly the aim, though we're still weeding out a few odd cases that need it to be added.
