Mostly people seem to have got back online fine.

If you continue being stuck there, try closing the client and deleting the \jagexcache folder that'll be somewhere on your hard drive. Then try the client again. It solves a wide variety of loading issues.

To be honest, I'd hoped to do LootShare this autumn, but we had some staffing changes and had to postpone.
Just don't ruin the economy with it.

We intend to put some abyssal weapon buffs on the next poll. John and Kieren are looking at buffing the sire's drops; the drop table changes will not be polled. I don't know whether that'll affect the rate of dropping Unsireds, since they could change the list of things coming out of the Unsired.

The plan was to start by just offering vanilla LootShare. That'd have a relatively small effect on the economy, since it doesn't much affect what's dropped, only the recipient.

Expansions such as CoinShare would not be included by default, since I really don't like the effect CoinShare had on the economy, and ShardShare seems to have a lot of opposition. But we've had a few suggestions sent in for how to make a CoinShare system that doesn't just inject piles of cash, and maybe in future we'd be able to make one of them work, and poll it.

Yes, Mat's tracking down all the work that has to be done for it, so he can get a reliable release date.

However "we'll announce a release date" really should not have been interpreted to mean "it'll turn up on Monday afternoon without warning" :P
