I actually found another question in my mind tho - how is my dragon pickaxe gonna look if I use this new stone on it, after it already has the upgrade kit on it?
Is there an ETA for the rework of the slayer table, more specifically the removal of combat level requirements to get a cetrain assignment? Haven't heard much about that lately.
Liking this new content, but meanwhile I still can't get anything over dust devils as an assignment whilst im 80 slayer.
We'd always said we'd pitched it low, and that we'd be happy to increase the numbers if crowding weren't an insuperable problem. So what we've done is leave players to decide for themselves whether crowding is a concern for them.
I guess you're right. This is not the same game anymore that was designed to have 13 million smithing XP requirement (with slow training methods!) to smith the best weapon in the game. And to have the only way to obtain the resources for the said weapon from contested area in high level Wilderness.
There's nothing hardcore like that anymore
Players have had to create their own challenges by getting skills to 200M experience. I think it's kind of silly, considering what all challenges Jagex could have put themselves in the game. Do we need 100+ players in each skill 200M to get 200M capes? Wouldn't it be better to have the capes now so that players have something to look up to?
Have you ever considered decreasing the XP rates? Or making the game harder instead of easier? Or to have content that has risks? It's not good to have players decide everything. They just want everything easy and slowly but surely the game becomes dumbed down.

The decorated dragon pickaxe is too beautiful to convert into an infernal tool.

It's coming. We don't have a specific date in mind.

No, it's not. It's not the same game where you had to click the rock each time you wanted to swing at it either, or where you had to waste an inventory slot on a sleeping bag, or equipped items still counted towards your inventory capacity. The game has changed, and in many ways it's become easier.
You could call it debasing the game, or catering to noobs, and you'd be entirely entitled to that view. On the other hand, I think that's a rather extreme thing to argue when we're discussing whether a boss task should be 6 or 35 bosses.

Didn't feel it to be necessary for this feature. Many of these bosses were already available in Slayer categories anyway, and the bonus 5k XP becomes less significant as the task gets bigger.
