I seriously hope the master will assign more than 1-5 bosses. Wouldn't like to get kc/ecumenical key just to kill a few and then leave....especially on bandos/sara where one can potentially solo +15

No, if you don't have the stats or quests to access the area you won't receive that boss.
E.g. You need Priest in Peril to access Morytania before you'll get Barrows Brothers.

Yes, provided the partner has spent points to unlock the feature, and provided they have access to the boss in question. So your partner can share your Zilyana task provided they have the Agility level to access her room.

So barrows brothers will be a task? How will this work?

"Kill all barrows brothers"?
or
"Kill 5 Torag's?"

"Kill 6 Barrows Brothers". You can do each of them once during a standard run, or if you find that difficult you're welcome to just kill Torag 6 times over as many login sessions as you like.

I didn't work on this bit, but from what I've seen in the code, it's mostly the same items except various stackable item quantities have increased, more non-stackable items are dropped as banknotes to help you gather them, and various mithril/adamant items have been upgraded to rune.
