FINALLY you do something about the vet'ion safespot. Shame it took you several months since i sent in a bug report to do anything about it...
Sometimes it is hard to find the root cause of bugs that are in the oldest bits of the game engine. Also, in the specific case of Vet'ion, who is widely thought to be too hard - not to mention being in the Wilderness - a safe spot was not as concerning as it would be for other monsters.

Will vetions drop table be buffed atleast? Now the safespot is removed, it will take much more food to kill it + higher stats.
We're polling a change to Vet'ion to make him a bit easier by removing some dogs. If that doesn't pass, we can look at making him more rewarding instead.
No don't remove any dogs as that will just make kills much faster and devalue drops quicker, and vet'ion is already rewarding enough (esp. rotg) so no need to to buff its drop table.
IMO the best solution to avoid it being dead content is to revert the change you made to the dogs being unable to de-spawn. This would bring back the method of killing vet'ion across multiple worlds by hopping to kill another while you wait 2 minutes for the dogs to de-spawn. This method was about as fast as the safespot but obviously you were dealt damaged so used more supplies.

Has anything been done to test how much easier this makes the boss now that you can't use any kind of safe spot at all? I feel like with how strong the actual boss is, now that you will have to (most likely) be taking hits from the boss while you kill the 1 or 2 dogs, it will not make much difference to how hard the actual boss is.
I personally feel like reducing how quickly and often the boss itself does the earthquake attack would have been a better fit for making it more viable to kill without any sort of safespot considering you can't dodge that attack without running far away from the boss. Just an opinion though
