Every other resource skill is afk, I'd love for the trend to expand to mining. Seems unfair woodcutters only deal with 1 resource per tree only up until 15 then it's multiple logs and afk.

Very few people enjoy mining how it is currently.

Not to mention it'd be great if we could have some sort of community aspect to things too. LRC and Bonfires are nice in RS3 because it actually encourages players to do things together rather than raging at each other for "invading their spot". I get runescape is about "competition" but its really not good for the community aspect of MMO games.

It's gona be way to overpowered for old school bosses.

Enhanced potions = overloads
And overloads ruined gwd including the prices!!!

whats next... turmoil?

Bring that update, and alot of people will quit due to the game being too easy HEHEHE

If you actually READ the enhanced potion part you'd quickly realize they're nothing close to an overload.

Campfires: If I understand this correctly, you go to a place that can make a campfire and then make your own one. After you make it, you wait and your energy will restore at a faster rate if you stand next to it? Also how long would a campfire last? If I can build one permanently in key areas (e.g. middle of Varrock), then it would be useful but I assume the campfire will burn out after some time. Not really a fan of carrying logs or an axe around Runescape!

Construction shortcuts: Would not be a fan of having to keep repairing them every week if they do degrade. I would be ok if there was a 1% chance of the shortcut breaking though every time you use it (similar to how in RS3 your mithril grapple can break when you use a shortcut).

Overall, I like the Motherlode option the best! Quarry is cool as well as it has a smithing component... hmm...

Honestly I really hope one of these mining updates is considered. If you think about it mining is trained EXACTLY the same from level 15 to 99. You one tick iron ore (ok maybe not at level 15 but still) and drop it, and then you eventually move onto granite doing the same thing. Adding some sort of diversity to the mining skill would be awesome.
