I didn't like this update at all, was thinking about quitting.

Then I launched OSbuddy, changed my resolution to 1152x864.

Now it's so much better :) .

Edit : I know you guys put alot of hard work into this update. It's not a bad update, it's just that I did not like it. That is just my personal opinion. We'll see if I like it more in the future, but I really appreciate all the time you put into making the game better.
I only play on the 2007 server. Will never play EoC!

Cool update, but it's still far from perfect.

-Framerate takes enormous hits at just about any size, but it is extremely bad beyond 1080p (using a 2560x1440 monitor). I know OSRS' graphics render off the CPU, but I have yet to see my overall CPU usage go over 20%, let alone seeing a single CPU thread tip over 40% load. WHY is an old game like this lagging on a 6-core i7-5820K?

-Zooming and FOV are missing. You guys showed off the ability to change this on livestreams, yet it isn't available for us? As it is now, most of us agree the camera is zoomed too far in. Plus if we could adjust zoom and FOV independently, it would fix any of thos issues.

-Interfaces can get problematic at high resolutions. They end up becoming way too small and spaced apart too far, making gameplay hard with having to mouse the mouse so far back and forth. I'm aware I don't HAVE TO play either fixed or "fullscreen" (window scaled as big as possible) and I could settle for something in the middle, but that is not my intention. If there was an option to upscale interfaces (this could simply be stretched, and not having to be rendered in a different size) so the proportions between them and the environment aren't so off.

Other than that, great work so far, Ash. I'm sure with some tweaking and optimization this can get even better.

i think my resizeable mode isn't working correctly... i have my screen stretched out to fit my entire screen and it doesn't stretch that far... it just goes SLIGHTLY bigger than the original, and when i say slightly, i mean it, it's miniscule.

i mean.. it's not like there's lots to press right. i just click the resizable and it should work right. well it's not :S

EDIT: ok i deleted cookies and some other stuff and now it works. :) awesome.

- Click through chatbox

- Zoom functionality

- XP drops

- Ability to use your own keybinds, in game.

This one needs some explanation. I mean being able to change the already existent keybinds to a new key. Right now they're awful from a usability standpoint and you can already change them whenever you want by reassigning the key for your entire computer. Its just rediculous and time consuming to change everything for RS then to change it all back for other games.

- UI needs to scale to be larger with the rest of your screen. Right now your bags and such get farther and farther away and smaller the larger your screen gets.

Thanks for the update love you guys

Hello first of all i want to congratulate every mod who has worked on project resizable mode.

But i also have some questions/complains.

Why not just made resizable like it was back in actual 2004/2007 i remember it like that and expected it also. Just like the fixed screen only bigger with everything kept in place like it is in fixed screen mode.

I have read mod Ian is going to work on the layout and i hope you also do what i just wrote.

I guess i have to wait on future updates on project resizable till then i will still use my fixed screen. Cause i like the layout/interface the best that way.

I am happy that you give players the choice of using it or not, that is a very good thing to do. Everyone can play the game how he or she likes.

I care much about the oldschool Runescape game and i like to see it the way it was in 2007 and stay that way. (afcourse with some new items and monster that fit the game)
I like almost every update so far keep up the good work!

Need reasizable and movable windows and stuff.

Because
-Bank is too far away when opened
-Inventory is really small
-Chatbox is really small
-Map is really small

I am happy for the update though.

Loving resizeable mode so far! Great update, great work. :)

Will edit this later if I find issues that need to be addressed.

EDIT:

Original message details are unavailable.
By far my favorite update, but getting a zoom in and out feature is almost a must.

I agree with this. Zooming in and out would be a nice addition. And this too is one of my favorite updates, yet.
