How about a mini game that involves both combat and skilling? A game
that would have a fort or shelter, surrounded by a large and open
area. The fort would have resources inside to make energy potions,
food, bows, arrows, and runes. Outside of this fort would be monsters
spawning. The monsters would always follow someone if they are outside
the fort. The fort would have a health bar and would be repaired with
construction or crafting. If no one is outside, the monsters will be
attacking the fort, if it gets destroyed you lose. Protection prayers
would be disabled, or no prayers at all when entering and no prayer
potions allowed, maybe nothing is allowed inside and a 5 minute set up
until monsters spawn would work. The people running could run, attack
from a distance with mage/ranger, then keep running since the monsters
*** through prayer. The people inside would be making potions such as
super energy and ammo, they could attack from side. There is enough
melee contact this would be anti-melee, since they would hit through
pray and its multi combat, melee would get you killed. Skillers could
make ammo, runes, and repair the fort while other players could be
attacking from a distance, this would require teamwork. The monsters
would spawn randomly as one dies so the lurer will get hit and evently
need to get suplies from the fort which would be attacked while
trading, unless someone switches with that player quickly. Adding a
canon, like one on a pirate ship, where the players inside could use
their skills to make different level cannonballs that would give some
kind of xp, such as range xp, or fire cannon balls for magic xp, to
who ever creats the items and loads it and fires it, while the
skillers make potions, upgrade the fort, fish and cook, do what ever
skills they want to help the team.
