This is so stupid!!!!!!!!!!!! No wilderness updates so pures can actually pk in a busy world and form multy clans that pk 24/7 in busy worlds. We need r*v caves, we need fog inside of the wilderness, we need to get rid of pvp worlds so people can pk in one place. The wilderness is so empty, NO TB IN F2P IS PATHETIC.

We really do need to look into Wilderness much more guys! Pking areas such as Fog, r*v caves, old clan wars and old bh craters areas used to be so popular and always full of energy and pkers it used to be so awesome! Also please do notice that all of the areas mentioned used to be MULTI! Edge pking is getting boring as hell guys, please stop with these slayer updates for a while, it seems like that's our main focus here...

Yep, me and John have discussed this a little bit and will probably go down the route of just giving the bow a flat-out stat buff rather than any special effects. Of course, to be dev blogged and voted on.
Hi Ronan
, I don't think giving the Seercull a mere stat buff above incorporating any special effects will increase its viability overall, aside from the accuracy. Something I will see this achieving is an alternative to the Crystal Bow/(i) for those who have not done Roving Elves and or are unable to afford the recharging costs.
Why not consider buffing the Seercull (somehow) in a way that is similar (and not as OP) as the Hexhunter Bow from pre-eoc/RS3? I mean, Seercull already has been written as an "anti-mage" bow so to speak...
Give it a 10% increase in damage against Mage Based enemies... Or something.
I might write something up and send it to you over Twitter.

NO TB IN F2P IS PATHETIC.
It was polled twice (I think) and failed both times.
Try blaming the community that voted against this update.

How will the Jad pet be obtained? I don't want it to be something like an uncommon/rare drop from Jad that's dumb. Maybe you could pay money and a fire cape to unlock it?
A while ago they were talking about it requiring a large amount of fire capes to buy the pet.
:S I like my idea better I had a tough time getting one cape but getting a "large amount" I don't think I'll do that. It's just a waste of money and time even for a pet.
OS Status: Nothing atm.
RS3 Status: 120 Slayer done now onto figuring out what I should do next.

More bosses and slayer updates... never seen that before.
Seriously, cut it with all the slayer updates. I know there was a poll before that decided what kinds of updates people wanted, but that was long ago. There are many new players and there's already been tons of new content for slayer. Focus on something other than slayer and bosses for once.

Why is the wilderness not being paid attention to?
It is obviously the only factor and component of OSRS that is keeping it as popular as it is today. Yet with all the flaws the wilderness has, and the many suggestion thread that appeared on the forums, no moderator took the time to reply to any of them.
All of these updates are not within the OSRS time frame, they are not attracting potential or past customers and are not what the majority is asking for. While I appreciate all the work going into these updates, Jagex must realize that OSRS is popular because:
OSRS can be like many games out there, but no games out there can be like OSRS
Alas, we are just moving towards a down graded version of RS3 with all these updates. Please fix the core components before introducing new updates like these!
The wilderness needs LOTS of attention and if you guys took 10 minutes to just read how much fixing the wilderness needs and take 10 minutes to realize how vital the wilderness is to OSRS players you would devote much of your time to it.
Any who, I hope you guys realize this before it is too late. I personally have 2 threads about the wilderness which have great popularity but no Jagex Mod has taken the time to reply.
I do not understand why all the updates the past months have been dedicated to slayer and diaries. This is why I quit the minute diaries came to OSRS, it is because Jagex seems to be so committed to diaries and allocates so much time into them when they are not such a huge factor of the game, for gods sake they were not even part of 2007!
You're forgetting the large swaths of people who don't give a crap about the wilderness. Like me, and literally everyone I know on RuneScape. And also the incredible lack of people actually presently in the wilderness.
I fear that existing drop list reworks will be too overpowered compared to the other monsters which do not get a buff.
See wyverns for example which failed in many ways: Wyverns went from bad drops to insanely rewarding drops. Wyverns drop table overpowers any other non-boss monster, so buffing wyvern drops actually decreased the variety of monsters players are going to hunt down. And on top of that wyverns are not being assigned as a slayer task.
What should have been done instead: Buff wyverns drop table slightly to match other slayer monsters profitability and make wyverns a possible slayer task. This way there would have been 1 more unique slayer monster, dead content revived the right way.
I love that there will be a Slayer update. I have also been thinking about how you are adding the Hellhound boss, and Abyssal boss. There should also be maybe a new type of monster, and a new type of boss that hasn't been thought of yet.

This response is spot on. PKers are a minority, be glad you got any updates. There's a reason the wilderness is empty,
because it's not content people are choosing to use
. To cater multiple game updates towards a small but vocal minority trying to drag unwitting players into an area of the game they generally want to avoid is just a waste of developer time.
That being said, as I'm nearing my QPC, I'd love to see new quests. I'd also love to see Sailing given a fair shot at being a skill.
