That already solves what they're worried about. They can build an account, transfer items to it from their main and play - all without waiting!

Back to the real problems, 24 hrs gametime alone isn't enough to combat bots. Esp. during their peak time - weekends. They can just run during weekends and never be caught with that.

It seems like adding a QP restriction to unlocking trading before waiting 24 hrs would solve both problems better. People could complete a lot of quests in that time and get trading, but bots would have a much greater hurdle.

Splashing hasn't been resolved - look in Lumbridge basement, everyone lures a spider to the bank chest and splashes. It's a terrible impression for new & returning F2P players! Once they realise just how far the integrity of the game has dropped, they're likely to not bother trying, realising they'll be outclassed if they started a few months late.

Sort out NMZ Guthans too. Too easy is going to lead to bored & leaving players much quicker. Thus, less staying or returning to membership once they max combat & run out of content.

one thing you could do to help weed out pm advertizing bots is to automatically ban the bots that send certain messages. since these bots usually send the same messages, a detection macro could easily weed these awful things out.

also, to prevent f2p ad bots, maybe you could add a limit to the # of characters (and the type of characters) the bot can send. since most of these bots use up tons of characters (and special characters), this would definitely help weed them out.

Great update! This will surely bring many more players to Old School.

Sadly the majority of people commenting cannot read/comprehend or just chose not too.

If you cant handle waiting 24 hours of game time in order to receive F2P loot then you shouldn't even be playing this game in the first place.

All the restrictions you can give me!

People want the 24hr restrictioN rempved bexause they are the ones that are going to be making lvl 3s to pk on, everyone in f2p starts pking at low lvl and they pk to get the loots, someone might not be risking alot at low lvl but that is not the point. The pojnt is in having fun, pking ur opponent and receiving his lotation, these lootations will help u stock up on more gear to continue pking.

When you people say it takes more than 24 hrs to get the gear to pk, you are complete morons and you are obviously new, alot of people start off low lvl pking and transfer their pking supplies from their main.

The 24 hour trade limit will effect players alot more than bots, it takes a bot atleast 24 hrs to get enough bulk items to make it worth while to sell and transfer off, a bot can just stay logged in for 24 hk*** easily while a actual legit player cannot

What do u think will hapen to the legit players eho cannot trade of the items they have made in say 3 hrs, they will quit not everyone had the time to sit and skill and wait 24 hrs before they can actually enjoy the game without the trade restrictons

Remove the 24 hr trade restriction add maybe a 100k 24 hr trade limit or something

24 hours won't be enough O_o you have bots in game right now with 91+ rc so getting 60+ wc 40+ fishing won't be issue for gold farmers and trade off stuff before u ban them Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
