Painting the existing defender model red would be easy.
Designing and modelling a respectable member of the dragon weapon family is, necessarily, more work. Lest anyone assume that Mod Ghost has spent the last 2 weeks drawing a red dagger, he's actually working very hard on the Achievement Diary rewards, which is why the dragon defender's not done yet.

Mod John C also had to program a new group of tougher cyclopes and map the room where they will appear, and deal with the NPC dialogue for getting into it when you're entitled to do so, and update the token timer to handle the new room.

Nothing especially hard, but I'm afraid it's not in this update.

We shared a whole load of information in the livestream about why we think permanent F2P is only viable if you accept bonds as a convenient method for the F2P players to subscribe. Unsurprisingly, we think it boils down to "... so we think this is a good deal." And you get to vote freely.

P.S. If you're going to phrase your questions like that, don't be surprised if other people's questions get more attention.

Hi Mod Ash,

Is there any chance we could have the option to disable random events permanently?

They're a bit annoying when you don't dismiss them and dismissing them is an extra unnecessary click.

Those that still want randoms can simply leave this proposed option as 'on'.

Hide Messages From Ignored Players

When adding players to your ignore list their recently sent messages will now be hidden. This change applies to the following:

* Private messages
* Chat-channel messages and Clan Wars challenges
• Trade requests and Duel challenges
• Autochat
• Public chat

This should make it a bit easier to get back to 'Scaping as usual following an unfortunate encounter.

Oh I have been waiting for this. Those damn bots that spam you constantly for gold sites. OR just an annoying player.

Development on the achievement diaries began in early December.
Development on the GE began a week ago.

Also, the projects are of different sizes, so one can't usefully compare the dev time required to make them.
