Zulrah has by far the worst drop table of any boss in this game. It costs so much in supplies. Addy bars, black dragonhides, snakeskins, chaos runes, antidotes.. (My drops). Not to mention the possibility of GRAPES???? I could make 100x more profit at the giant mole... give me a break. It needs consistent drops, help us pay for some of the supplies! People like me who don't have 99 def go through brews and food so fast there. These drops are on the Kalphite Queen level of pathetic. Way to fail an update with a ton of potential. (And the serpentine helm looks so bad, the best helm in the game looks like someone chewed up a tribal mask and puked it back out.)

You guys are going to balance the plowpipe right? After seeing so many complaints, I've done a few calculations using the accuracy formula and the results are just crazy.

I'll show the results. The ranger is not going to be using pots/pray. The meleer will.

Effective range level of 107 (99) +8 default
107 x (64+ 144) = 22,256 attack roll with pipe
107 x (64 + 178)= 25,894 attack roll with arma c bow+ward

Effective defense level of 121 (75+potion+piety) + 8 default

121 x (64 + 291)= 42,955 range def roll

Def is greater than attack:

(22,255)/(2x 42,955)= 25% hit chance w/ pipe
25,893/85910= 30% hit chnce w/ arma c bow


Even by adding a ward with the arma c bow, the hit chance is still only 5% more. They have near the same accuracy, yet the pipe is over twice as fast.

I'm going to be using a max of 32 for pipe (as 30s is what people are saying it hits and I've been told the max of spec is 48) and 44 for c bow.

25% x (32 x.5)/ 1.2= 3.3 dps with pipe
30% x (44 x.5)/3= 2.2 dps with c bow

The pipe has around ~50% higher dps even against high def targets.

If we swtich the values to that of a zerker with 200 range def, the dps of the pipe jumps to over 7.

None of this is factoring in the venom or the spec..isn't this a bit too much for osrs?

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

Mod ash. you guys are going to poll this before nerfing the blowpipe right?

The person above and a few like him, does not represent the entire community. He may cry loud and he cries like he cries on the behalf of everyone, but he doesn't.

I personally like the weapon the way it is, and I know many people that do as well. Please make sure you poll the nerf so you'd know how many people would be against the nerf. Otherwise you would be just listening to the "loud criers"
