If you're bringing in automatic trading, it needs the following to keep the economy as balanced as possible:
- Sellers only: NO AUTOMATIC BUY OFFERS. The two together made flipping incredibly easy.
- Absolutely no average price: Everything needs to be free price that is decided by the seller.
-No offline trading: Making money why you aren't even here? This game was all about the grind back in the day, and doing that grind with other people. Sure, make it automatic if you're only, but put heavy limits on what can be sold.
- Keep the trading post style: A single hub for buying and selling just encourages more scammers, autospammers and general exploitists to hang about there.
- A small tax for automatic trading: to ensure an economy that isn't automatic still exists.
To be honest, the trading post as it is now is perfect. I feel like Jagex is bowing down to people that just want an easy game. This game was never like that back in '07. It took a genuine time investment to achieve any goal, and an automatic trading post (especially the vanilla G.E) takes that away. I personally think it's about time that Jagex stops this whole 'let the community decide everything' tactic and just make necessary changes to ensure the games is balanced, fair and sustainable long term.
