No support for automatic trading or GE or trading posts whatsoever.
One of the reasons i enjoyed playing 07 was because of the old trading system, that you had to ''work'' to find a buyer. Sadly it seems that 07 is becoming more and more like eoc again.

Would love to see the GE (old one with 1 booth, would be nice for people who like to talk while bankstanding), if that fails I'd go for automated trading and finally trading through the post.

People say that the GE isn't oldschool - guess when the GE came out, it's more oldschool than a lot of things in the game.
People say that the GE means you can merch and manip items. Sure this is true - but news flash, you can merch and manip right now too! In fact manipulating items can be done on a level 3 account that has no money. Seems like quite a few people like to judge things without having any idea what they're talking about.

No support for offline-trading. Why should you be able to obtain your items while you aren't even playing? That's just not how oldschool should be in my opinion. Not to mention that online-players would have to compete against offline-players aswell to buy or sell their items. This system is already really efficient if you use it correctly. If offline-trading were to pass, I'd say good luck selling all your items quickly in-game without underpricing them. Same goes for buying items aswell.

Automated trading while you're online? Meh, not a fan of it. This will end the typical oldschool social-aspect of trading, which again, isn't healthy for an MMO. This will also delay the process of buying and selling your item(s) for a fair price.

The only thing I'd like to see updated are the armour-sets. This can save bank-space and make it easier to buy or sell a full set, but right now the variety of packed armour-sets is limited. And for the trading post itself just an automated offer remove when a player has been offline for a certain amount of time (I would say 2-5 minutes) so that you don't have to deal with offline players all the time. A solution for not having to remove every trader you pm so that your friendslist doesn't get filled with players you don't know.

Lastly I'd have to say I really like the fact that you're not able to post buying offers. It makes sense like this that you can only get what a seller is offering. It's way harder to manipulate prices now because of that. No more fake buy offers from multiple players! It's a problem we were facing in the past, and finally with the arrival of the trading-post the ability to manipulate prices became less accessible.

Why can't you just embrase this update and realise that this is a way healthier system than it would be with offline-/automated trading? The biggest issue was combating the world 1 spam-trade system, which is what this trading post has done.

Ge stops player interaction? What a joke I always say ty nerd for every sale or purchase I make. Just get us full ge back already. Only nerds that have time to spam all day and merc* will not support this but meh when the polls are out 75%+ will be FOR FULL Grand Exchange. So the minority that contains the majority of nerds will be dropped. Tears will be involved. And haters will be hit.

I wouldn't like to see a GE re-launch.

What I would like to see on the other hand is to see a 'free market' trade post.
Kind of how it is right now, just that we can trade directly through the post.
Also offline-offers is a must in order to maintain prices.

- Turn it into the Grand Exchange
- Automatic trading
- Posting 'Buy' offers
- Viewing the Trading Post from elsewhere
- Don't list offers from people with Private off
- Info tracking

Some of these ideas don't work concurrently obviously but I support them being added depending on the scenario

As much as community hates GE I think that is the way to go, people complain about it but truth is, it came out in late 2007 and should already be in this game. No offense but this would make PvMing a lot more fun with lootshare etc.

I won't deny that I'm a bit biased because I enjoyed the RS prior to EoC the most, that's when I was clearly playing 6+ hours a day and that was nuts. As much as people hate GE I think it needs to happen, same goes for summoning.
