...and please no price tracking!

if theres no price tracking they can't add things like Lootshare

You add nothing to this discussion to a game you don't play, I will state it again

Negatives of a Grand exchange- skilling becomes almost no profit, supplies crash, pseudo-rare items become basically free, Treasure trail items crash, Treasure trail rewards crash, things like brewing become even less money, merching will become even easier than it is now. (But people won't see that they are paying a higher price). The whole market will crash and items may return to the normal price but it will take a few months.

Positives of a Grand exchange- Nothing if you want easyscape play RS3 things should not be able to be gained in an instant with a GE it literally makes the game single player, with a Grand exchange you need 0 player interaction just a hey lets go click this and just automatically get what we need. It takes away from leveling skills because why work to be able to plant this herb, why work to catch that fish, why work to do anything when hey I can just buy it off the grand exchange in 1 second.

Quoted for truth.

You support buying spins/keys as well hahahahaha go back to easyscape man.

Lol peasants that think RS3 is easy just don't know where the challenges are. Try making enough money for a rare set, try getting all 120s, even WITH keys/spins... Of course all 99s is easy on there in comparison, the game is 7 years more advanced. What else do you expect?

Having a rare set isn't hard still have all my rares from when I original played, oh man do I miss free rares and 1m santas/masks... I have seen friends get 120m from 99 in a few weeks from spins. There is no challenge to RS3 I could get 200m fishing xp by clicking my mouse once every 5 minutes at rocktails for 5 months. Or even better I could just buy 200m agility, or buy everything else because thats all RS3 is. No one in the OSRS community wants the game we play to head that way

High IQ players realize the negative implications a GE would bring. The casual player wants the GE because it makes the game easier.

Like King said earlier the feedback for a GE in OSRS has failed multiple times yet Jagex continues to force it upon OSRS.

If the GE is released it will be this games EOC. I am strongly AGAINST the idea of expanding the trading post in any capacity.

Negative implications:

Price manipulation
Less player to player interaction
... makes the game easier?

Positive Implications:

*Merchanting, investing, flipping facilitated, which helps market flourish (volume is what drives trends)
*You can actually buy minute items no one ever really bothers to sell (mainly for quests but other things as well)
*Insane amount of time saved in the long run
*Lootshare and Coinshare possible

Ambiguous Implication(s):

More players - I assume the amount of people who will want to play OSRS because of G/E outweighs the amount who will quit over it, but that's an assumption so I won't put it on the positives.

GE is the best option IMO.

I believe that you should build a small scale GE in Falador Park. New graphics please.

Also allow access to GE through trading posts at every bank. Or at least allow collection of items and gold through trading posts but only allow posting buy/sell offers at the GE.

Upon moving GE to Falador Park please offer a second "home teleport" style teleport to every spellbook called market teleport.

I keep seeing "easyscape" I find this really funny. You wanna go back a little farther before something as simple as Make x was there? back when you had to click knife to log every single bow. back when fletching and crafting were "corporal tunnel" skills. Before farming was introduced and herbs were harder to come across. We are in easyscape if you really wanna look at it.

Merching is already easy enough no need to facilitate that by putting in a grand exchange. Which seems to be the only point you just made.

Lootshare, time saved, "minute items", and merching implications are not positives. Those can ALL be considered negatives just as easily given we play an "old school" version of the game.

Try again.
