Reducing the blowpipe speed will surely be dominated by the msb and karils bow. This is a 75 range item from a solo boss, it should be much more efficient, including the prices its going to be at.

Either have it the same speed as darts or buff up the stats before its another useless item.

I definitely think this boss needs a very high slayer requirement as some other players have mentioned. This will prevent Nightmare Zone prods from being able to AFK their accounts and farm the boss. I think also that there needs to be numerous other requirements such as maybe a high requirement quest or something. It needs several stipulations that will prevent boosted accounts from farming the boss and only the high leveled, well skilled, and well quested accounts will be able to do it. This is not biased due to the fact I am a rune pure account and will probably never kill the boss anyways but I would like to see these new item hold there value for a very long time and not just spill into the game from so many boosted main accounts.

As for the blow pipe I like this idea very much, for a long time I have always thought we needed a level 75 range weapon. Something like a "godsword" of the range skill. I do think the stats and mechanics of this weapon need to be changed though. Similar to the godsword it should have a sort of slower attack but with great accuracy and strength. That would be my preference and I think that would be neat to see in PvP or maybe even in PvM solos at armadyl? If for some reason that isn't possible I would like to see it be a very high DPS range weapon that would hit maybe 20-25s maxed out, but very very accurately and very fast.

Blowpipe sounds reasonable (although the range attack needs to be higher) and it'll potentially give more use to darts. I see it being used more as a spec weapon though since I assume it'll be easier to combo with than d bow.

Not sure about the spike. Melee does not need any higher dps. Since it has a reasonably high chance to poison, the combat stats should be slightly lower to balance it.

Magic is good as is in PvP, the fang isn't needed either nor would it help with PvM as trident or iban blast will still be superior. Take away the +8 mage bonus as magic doesn't need any more accuracy, and keep the poison effect OR make it to where it makes smoke spells more potent. Smoke spells are useless and this change could help with that. Otherwise..the fang will just make them even more useless. Let's not do that.

Or make it to where it increases mage damage vs Npc* as PvM is where the problems are.

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

Love the spike being part of this bosses drops, unique different and gives the a unqiue way to do offensive damage with a shield spot. 25% chance seems a bit high however, thats 1 out of every 4....quite high for the poison this boss gives.

Not sure how valuable the pipe will be seeing as darts are used for the speed and the pipe's not looking like it compensates for that.

Or they could make it unlock in the other half of the cave, before entering the combat-level restricted door.

Never going to happen. Tired of seeing people yammering about it. Maybe the 99 hunter guys want it to require 99 hunter!! Yeahh let's make it have a 99 hunt requirement. You can hunt the snake! Outrageous fun! That should pass a poll! To hell with you no skill kids that only leveled slayer. L2play the game already.
