Oh i thought it counted from when you started on OSRS, not rs3 and osrs combined.
The creation date that Hans lists is the creation date of the account, not the date when you first logged it into OSRS. But the in-game time is the time you've spent playing OSRS.
Wouldnt it make more sense if he told us when we started osrs? could that also be added?

I wouldn't want to take away the account's total age info. For veterans who've been playing RuneScape in its various forms throughout many years, that's an important statistic.
It's not like you can use bunny ears or scythes to prove you played in RS Classic days, for example.
As for adding more info, I'd be happy to see it done, but we'll need to find out whether the engine can access that information and pipe it to Hans. Ian's not around today, but we'll ask him when we get a chance.
Just went to check my play time, let's add one for NMZ now, too. Mine cannot be that high! All this sleep training making me look bad, you know. LOL. Great addition, something I've always wanted since my early days of playing, but was never able to achieve. Out of curiosity, was it something particularly difficult to implement, or was that data always available you just gave Hans the ability to display it?

Ian did most of the work to obtain the data. I don't know exactly what it entailed. My contribution was to update Hans' dialogue to display it.
I also changed how Hans runs away when people tell him they're going to kill everyone in the castle. Previously, no-one could click on Hans to talk to him while he was running away. Now that it's vaguely useful to talk to Hans, that wasn't acceptable.
Thanks for all the clarification you provide after each update, Ash. It really is appreciated.

I know it wasn't voted on, but I'd love for the ironman icon to be togle-able (or perhaps filtered??), unless it is so already, of course. I remember how much spam and clutter the chat had in RS3 that it became obnoxious. I know the 75% was met, granted I was not one of them, but I'd love to not see my chat filled with spam.
Although the engine doesn't technically support that, I think I know a work-around that'd let us do this anyway. Mind you, I'm surprised that you're finding your chat "filled with spam" as a result of this, since it doesn't make the Iron Man players any more verbose than they were before.
Unless they're all just running around shouting to show off their icons, of course. If so, hopefully they'll knock it off soon
Chat icons really do stand out in the chat - it's rather annoying to see.
I'm looking forward to hearing more about this work-around.

I just discovered this the other day with Hans, actually. I don't think I had ever seen that before, so I'm glad I got to see it before it was removed. I had to run out of Lumbridge for him to talk to me again.
also i don't see any reason why the items should disappear completely after 10 mins. some people actually pvm with people they trust and would rather their friends pick it up and return it instead of it disappearing completely after 10 mins

If your friends can pick up your items, so can any looter who's hanging around outside the boss room waiting for people to dc.
