I have an idea for the Colosseum in civi la fortis. So how about there are three different alternating events you can participate in while in the arena. The first activity would be a free for all fight. Players spawn in the colosseum and fight each other until there is only one player remaining. Kind of like the fight pits.

The second event would pit two teams against each other. Players are divided into two team. Once the game starts, teams spawn on sides opposite of each other. The goal is to knock the other team out of the arena. This would be like Clan Wars.


And finally the third event would put all players on one team against a boss and several other mini monsters. If a player dies, they don't come back in. The game ends when all players have been defeated or the boss has been defeated. Imagine kind of like the Vorago mini-game in Runescape 3.



The events in the Colosseum would alternate. After a free for all fight, a clan wars fight would happen followed by a player vs npc event. This is to keep the game fresh while also appealing to a wide variety of pvpers or pvmers. The only places you can fight in team pvp is at Castle Wars and the rarely used purple portal at Clan Wars. As for the team pvm, it is a unique mini-game as there arnet any official places where you can pvm as a team with a bunch of anonymous people.

Please make a quest for the entrace of zeah. We need more quest, too much content but no quest, i know they are hard to make but at least make it small. It will give more excitement once you enter the city.

The only reason I started playing Old School again was due to this announcement. Even with the corp update I've been bored of repeating the same content I've already went through years ago.

Good job, and please limit the amount of information about this new land mass. The best part of the game is exploration as a noob. You tell us too much and you spoil the damn fun.

My take on zeah is that there will clearly be new skilling methods as well as new armors being released, but we do not want to crush the authenticity of OSRS, so the best way to keep both of these said goals in mind is by adding tiers. IE, you complete a raid in the volcano while wearing your bcp and tassy, you have a 1/500 chance of receiving a t1 bcp shard. You then add the shard onto the bcp to increase all offensive stats +1, all defensive stats +2, strength by 1 or 2 and change or "upgrade" the appearance of the BCP slightly.

Making these tier shards tradable gives valuable loot, and won't ruin the appeal of going to godwars for the token drops, which still retain value. I would not make the tiers degrade and destroy the underlying armor, rather tiers are consumed when you upgrade to tier 2 or tier 3 and so on.

Also making the raids dangerous to the point where you risk some higher end items (not seen to others since raids are instanced) we now have a valuable item sink which the current OSRS is lacking with an increases death timer.

As for Adding tiers to skilling items like D axe and D pick, add a degradable granite handle dropped by random spawning monsters in the land mass like Patriarch in RS3 LRC which consumes itself and the original dragon tool after 5000 uses for the effect of offering an additional 2.5% or 5% xp bonus. This will help bring back value to the dragon pick axe drops as well as dragon axe drop(which will be even more worthless with noted dk bone loot coming with diaries).

A small but able % boost will hardly devalue previous achievements while bringing value back to the soon to be "older Pvm" like DKS and Wiley bosses.

If you want raid instances with armor tiers you're playing the wrong game imo.

Raids are already coming with the continent and so is new armor with the slayer update. I'm just trying to allow new worth while content to come into the game without ruining the old nostalgic content like gwd, what's your suggestion then?

Hello,

First off, I am thrilled, overjoyed, and feel like I'm on top of the world to hear about the introduction of Zeah . However, I am most excited for the Civitas illa fortis , Latin for Mighty City (yes, google translate). I am even MORE excited for the reintroduction of the duel tournaments. I even made a new account upon hearing the news about the release of duel tournaments because I PLAYED them Pre-EOC and truly UNDERSTAND the how much fun it is to participate in them and I REALLY believe have the potential to be very successful!

I have a lot to bring to the table to ensure this release (duel tournaments) remains popular well after the release. I don't expect anyone to take my word for it so let me establish my credibility:

Like I mentioned before, I PARTICIPATED in these duel tournaments when they were around Pre-EOC. I was ranked on the first page of the high scores for the minigame. Then something very tragic took place. The duel tournaments minigame was pulled from the game due to inactivity after some time. I was not one of those people to let it die. Naturally, the minigame died down some time after the release to the point where I, alongside many, would run upstairs (the duel tournaments were under the duel arena) to call players to come down and participate as there was a minimum number of players required to start (I don't know the exact number). I asked players why they did not want to participate and what they did not like about because I was quite shocked to be honest. I mean they were the most fabulous thing EVER, the tournaments that is and yes, they were that great.

With that said, I would like to address the negatives of the previous duel tournaments from Pre-EOC and offer suggestions so we can minimize the inactivity. I will post this information in another thread since this one is getting long.
