Ironman Mode

I'm having so much fun already with it, but I do have one major concern, the armour.
The armour looks great, no problems there, but when it comes to being an Ultimate Ironman, that's where my problems come in. I'm an ultimate, so I can't use my bank, which means no matter what level I am, I either have to stick with Ironman armour with an Iron rating so people know I'm an Ironman (which would be great so they know I'm challenging myself, feel I deserve that much for my efforts) or I have to get rid of the armour so I can get better protection stats (I.E. Black, Mithril, Adamant, etc.)
It'd be nice to have the Ironman armour as a cosmetic override option so that way if I have Mithril on, you can still tell I'm an Ironman. Just a suggestion.

In the newspost, it mentions the following:
Items that need to be traded between players during quests can now be used on other players to transfer them.
This applies (only) to those two quests: Shield of Arrav and Heroes' Quest .

You may have heard that we finally got our own engine dev today. Hopefully, once he's got his computer all set up, he'll be able to start working on the things we'd like changed in the engine.
That doesn't necessarily mean he'll immediately deliver all the things you've just listed. After all, we've had a lot of engine requests over the last 18 months, of varying priorities. Also, it may turn out that some things are simply unfeasible even with one engine developer on the team.

By "minority" I guess you mean the people who voted for it. That's over 75%.
You don't have a trading solution yet because we spent the last few months waiting for the engine team to have a chance to deliver it. They have to cater to the needs of the whole RuneScape department, not just OSRS, so we've often had to wait a while when we need stuff from them.
I'm hoping that this won't be the case so much, now that we've got our own dedicated engine dev.
Meanwhile, it's true that we could have had a complete embargo on delivering any update until the trade system was delivered, but you'd have been waiting several months now without any updates at all, and it wouldn't actually have made the trade system come much faster.

Cosmetic overrides feel very "not OldSchool" to me.
Might be just me, though.
We originally pitched the idea of a chat icon that'd show all nearby players that you're an Iron Man whenever you speak, but that was unpopular so we left it out.
We could always get Mod Ghost to do an emote of some sort.

Cheers. The unnoting thing is actually live already, but may not be fully available on all banks or bankers. If we missed one that's important for you, drop a bug report into the sticky thread in the OS General forum and we'll try to get it enabled.
