Snare in F2P, Why? Bind is enough for F2P if u ask me, its just going to ruin F2P Wars.

im not gonna be a happy camper if this passes.

Also rangers have big KO power as it is in f2p, giving me a yew shortbow is just like giving me a dragon scim in f2p, why do it?

Edit: Please do something about the 500+ F2P lobster fishing bots on Karamja.

Edit : the more i read into this thread the more annoyed im becoming. i'v spent over 8 years in the f2p pking community, if it was not for me clanning in the f2p scene i would of quit this game longgggg ago. if these f2p changes happen, i will not step foot in the f2p wildy again.

Listen here, everyone in the F2P clanning community fled EOC and had to start from scratch here on 07 to escape the additions to F2P you enforced on us without our consent. These changes affect the f2p pking community so heavily you cant begin to imagine the repercussions.

This is it, you are going to kill the last of a dedicated community trying to bring like 100-200 new 07 players into this game by adding some random p2p items to f2p. Its absurd, its useless and you are going to put the nail in the coffin if you do this. Seriously lad, the hell were you thinking?

Calm down lol, you realize what armor and weapons they're adding are only slightly more accurate and defensive than what you already have, right? The only real big change that would come is being held for 10 seconds by snare which honestly is nothing unless you're garbage at maybe having to tank. Also, TB should have already been available anyway.

Why speak on something you know nothing about. A 10 second snare is far too long for anything above 25 people lmfao.

Why do you assume I know nothing about a 10 second snare LOL? You realize anybody attempting to snare someone else in a clan war is open to being piled just as much as you are after being snared, right? Snare can also splash, is it really that much worse than a bind in a clan war? That 5 second difference too much for all you baddy f2p clanners?

You just said anybody that binds is going to instantly get focused. You actually have no idea what you're talking about. There's usually 70 people on one pile at a time, and ~30 of those are binders/blasters in F2P wars. You think all 30 of them will get killed at the same time?

You're clueless. Like I said before don't speak on something you know nothing about.

I'm voting yes to everything EXCEPT F2P changes. As people have stated, F2P is too delicate, it's also pretty well balanced and it doesn't really need changes. It will either be very good for F2P or very bad, not a risk you should take considering the status of F2P.

Let F2P be for now, maybe re-visit the topic in four or so months.

There are a lot of P2P items that could do to be enabled on F2P world, because they have almost no place in P2P. The items being proposed are already outclassed and considered noobish. For us P2P'ers, it provides us with another market that may value these items, for you P2P'ers, its additional content in your already restricted world.

Perhaps maybe there could be a rebalancing of these items so that they fit nicely in the F2P world, without providing too much OP'ness. Maybe we could counterbalance the yew shortbow by reducing its speed, or perhaps buff the range defence on melee armour. Same deal with snare and teleblock; make them more likely to splash, and reduce the damage snare inflicts.

One last thing, perhaps you should read my thread on how this should be polled.

:)

Problems with polling a single amulet with 5 widely different effects, if any are undesirable/over-powered it'll gain less support and may fail.

It's only a single new item for Shades, meaning it'll not add much new variety to the rewards that desperately need more variety. Plus, it'll always be the same feeling - amulet, oh that again. It's more fun wondering which of six amulets you'll have or could get and the dynamics of the varying values of each.

A solution to all these problems would be to introduce 6 amulets - one for each Barrow's set. A lot more interesting, motivating and each can be polled separately and revised if any aren't suitable while the others are introduced.
