What people here don't realize is that 90% of F2P clanners don't play the game at all outside of F2P warring or making money for sets. If you **** up F2P warring here, they'll just go back to legacy because it will be better both pking wise, and that it's easier to make money & pking supplies are dirt cheap there.. There is nothing for them on this game outside of F2P warring. Absolutely nothing stopping them from switching over again.

The only reason they're here in the first place is because the only option on rs3 was EoC in which pvp was a mess, but now legacy is there clans will just flock there if pking gets ****** here. Infact a few clans have already switched back.

The only reason people are even still here after Legacy is that you weren't bothering with F2P and they were already trained up so there wasn't much point in switching back when people have GP and **** here anyways.

Best mage gear right now adds up to:
+5 mage attack
0 melee defence
+5 mage defence


If you can't see just how much this is going to break F2P warring then I don't know what to say to you. The fact something so game breaking is even being polled makes me question whether our mods even have a clue what they're doing

Also, the set effect are a bit unappealing.

Torag's should slow down your opponent's attack speed for 10 seconds instead of increasing your own. It's designed to be tank armor after which means decreasing opponents DPS.

Ahrim's effect need to drain more Melee stats. Maybe it drain 5 Attack and Strength. It doesn't need the double splat effect.

Karil's is alright i guess. Though instead of draining Agility, it should knock back the opponent 2-3 square like the D spear except without stun. According to the lore, Karils halts the opponent by "showering bolts on them"


For the amulet itself, if you are going to add it - add it to the Barrows chest. Not the Shades chest.

I like the ideas here, but a "tip fedora" emote? Goodness, the autism is strong in this one :|

Also, the barrows effects from that amulet seem worthless, considering you risk degrading your amulet to nothing. I would had hoped the barrows sets with the amulet would well... make barrows sets more PvP/PvM viable than just whipping out the AGS's and Whips all the time.

Honestly, I'd rather see more armors and such introduced in the game, because stopping at barrows and some lv75 weapons can just get limiting after a while. I mean, pures get lv99s to max their offense abilities to fight tank players their level and barely hit lolz. 99 attack on a zerker does like nothing on a tank in barrows because the lv70 weapon doesn't match with the armor. And high defence players are limited to the lower armors. It kinda makes a bit of a mess sometimes unless you're just a really low leveled player to where it doesn't matter.

What happened to the mod team? I swear they got kidnapped and got replaced by some lunatics in the past 2-3 months..

This barrows amulet stuff is clearly overpowered. Oh wait! They don't care about that anymore *points at elysian and divines being polled and one passing*.

I do like the original content, however. *applauds*

Oh I also have a few questions! When does disruption shield come out? It's badly needed with all these overpowered barrows sets. You could also add Nex armour while you're at it if the amulet passes. Last question, when are you polling dragon claws?

I hope you guys know how there's only one OP set effect

- DH - Unless you time it perfectly it won't work (or if you always have the axe out when pking), since the necklace only does it's effect with the axe. Just more risk.
- Veracs - I guess, but assuming the price of the necklace is high, the price of prayer pots might not outweigh it.
- Ahrims - Autocast only? It's already bad.
- Karils - Regular c'bows are almost always better in PvM.
- Guthans - Is almost a joke, I'd rather wear a fury any time, the only exception being if I'm switching to another full set. But that's fine, Guthans is good as is and I'm sure that's intentional.

Now for Torags:

Basically Torags Hammers have the exact same accuracy and power as a Dragon Scimitar with a Rune Defender, but with crush accuracy. The update means they have a 1/4 chance to go at 3 tick speed (think MSB on rapid) with the same power of a Dscim+Rune def. That's pretty damn powerful.

Yeah lm*** it does seem that way, our team really isn't the same as it was a few months ago.

CAN WE PLEASE RAISE THE ALCH VALUE OF ROBIN HOOD HAT and RANGER BOOTS SO THEY PROTECT OVER OTHER ITEMS. I BELIEVE THERE VALUE IS SOMETHING RIDICULOUS LIKE 300GP OR SOMETHING. JUST A QUALITY OF LIFE IDEA, I'M SURE ANYONE WHO OWNS ONE OF THOSE ITEMS WOULD WANT THIS. THANKS!

Well let's think about this amulet for a second

You have to wear the FULL set, which would give value to items such as karils coif. But if you do the math, this gives Ahrim and Karils full set a 12.5% damage boost. So for Karils, that's a lot better than void ranged since you get the damage boost plus the accuracy of not having to wear void. For Ahrims, though, that's only slightly better than simply using the occult ammy.

For Torag, could you indicate exactly how much faster you'd be attacking? Like, if you're going to be attacking at knife/dart speed for 10 seconds, that's kind of broken lol

Dharoks and Veracs sound balanced I guess.


Also, back in like 2006, Full ahrims used to be pretty broken for PKing since the majority of your opponents would melee without bringing ranged or ranged armor. Using all 4 types of barrage spells, lowering their strength by 1-2 on average every single cast made it pretty damn near impossible to lose a fight.

EDIT: just realized Ahrims amulet only works when autocasting. Yeah it's completely useless on Ahrim in that case unless you guys are planning on:
1. allowing ahrims staff to autocast ancients
or
2. release surge spells again
