The cosmetic upgrades look like RS3..I don't really have a stand for or against them though. There probably will be a steady demand for them since things like santa hats and party hats have a steady demand. People would be interested to buy them as time goes on - especially merchers since they like to have fancy things.

But the fact that mains would be able to successfully use G-mauls would be interesting to see. There's no harm in the Saradomin tear, Magic short bow, or the Granite Maul upgrade so those are a definite yes. These things won't crash the market like what happened to the dragon scimitar because they're exclusive to the BH shop - which I like!

Okay... So why is the dragon pickaxe and the R$3 graphical shields going to be polled, and not the occult necklace and armadyl crossbow that Mod Alfred has made?

Just stop trying to force one of those ugly shields and pickaxe or poll the other reworks of Mod Alfred too...

-How about a item sink of making the granite maul needed with points to buy for the hardened g maul. The ability to also sink two g mauls in with points to make a granite 2- hander with the same hardened option costing 1 granite 2-hander and points to upgrade no degrade on regular 2 hander but only on hardened versions.

-Also make a dark bow sink the same way to make into a dark crossbow, thus costing a d bow and points to make one. Also the ability to unlock making dark dragon bolts from dragon dart tips for the crossbow to have same spec effect with same spec % value but nerfed down to hit 10%-15% less than regular d bow spec max. Degrades to dust after certain amount of hits.

-Barrows capes-exchange a barrows set with bounty hunter points for the set given barrows cape. The cape will allow players to hit set effects more often than they would without the cape. For example Barrows Cape(Veracs's), verac can hit 25% so a 1 in 4 chance, with cape can be a 1/3 chance of hitting so like a 33% chance. Must degrade to dust after certain amount of set effect hits like in a 200-500 range.

-offering new spells to be unlocked in normal magic spellbook pertaining to lightning. A player must have to buy a starter version spell and unlock at a progression state up to the lightning wave spell which would actually be a tad bit higher magic level than fire spells, so it would be offered after each fire spell. The spells would hit the same as fire spells but have a chance of stunning like the d spear spec (will not work on boss monsters). The conductive rune ess can be bought at bounty hunter shop and be made at the lightning altar which can be at killer watt place somewhere(insulated boots must be worn to make the lighting runes(optional)). The tailismen can be a killerwatt exclusive very rare drop on task to make the drop table balanced and good money for lower level slayer people.

-A 1 dose potion flask that gives double drops only through pvm for 30 mins,nontrade 1 at time

None of these items get me excited.


The cosmetic upgrades have been way overdone and serve no purpose but to feed the self-aggrandising culture of OSRS - I presume the majority are indifferent about their introduction but only a minority actually desire them.

I don't see many ditching the AGS for the SS, barely anyone pks with it.

I have no desire to grind for any of these items, as most will become junk or undesired.

Please add very, very expensive items into the shop... Either new unique items or old reworked ones like the arcane stream necklace. Other ideas could be untradeable chaotic weapons.

Alternatively as people might feel this is unfair, the obvious introduction is PVP armour. It will provide a perfect cash sink and will retain it's value if introduced at a high enough point cost... It's the obvious progression.

I am not wasting 2-300k in cash an hour Edge pking to pay 300k points for a D scim or 500k points for a volcanic whip mix.

Sort this out please Jagex or at least give a structured response, the offered items are underwhelming to say the least.

Ideas:

Arcane Stream Necklace - Same stats as before, tradeable.

PVP Armour - As before, degradable so providing a cash and point sink. Also high poi** cost ensures BH doesn't become dead content and remains profitable.

Supply chest- Low-medium cost of points and randomised assortment of pking supplies. Based off of steady street value of points, the randomisation doesn't always ensure profit can be made therefore preventing supplies from crashing as won't always be an opted for reward.

Granite Mace - Same stats as before and effect perhaps nerfed slightly

Alch Invent Scroll - A potentially useful spell for a medium point cost, high alchs everything in inventory, including noted items (maximum of say 4-500 items)

Edgeville Spawn Scroll - Lasts 20-30 deaths and only applicable in BH world. On death you spawn in Edgeville meaning you can get back into the action quicker and loot untradeables

I realize the pickaxe itself comes from the wilderness bosses, but the pickaxe itself has no use outside of mining. Just my thoughts on that part of this blog.

They could introduce buyable geodes for like 15 or 25 nuggets each, giving a random assortment of gems from 1-10 up to onyx(onyx being very rare 1/50 opens and only able to get 1 at a time per geode). And having d stones give max of 2 per geode possibly.

Questions:

1: What stops people abusing the teleport-to-target spell to get free teleports to useful places? (e.g. KBD, rune rocks, lava dragons, etc.)


Two players could work in conjunction and one teles there and trains/etc. and then the other banks and visa versa.

2: What would happen to reworked items on death? Would they revert to their original state, or stay reworked? Would it cost Bounty points to remove the rework?


3: It's mentioned that the Saradomin tear special will hit through protect from melee - does that not make it Melee-based magic, rather than Magic based melee?


For reference:

Magic-based melee = bloodvelds - a melee attack that does 'magic' damage and has its accuracy reduced by high magic defence, but is negated by protect from melee (protect from magic does nothing).

Melee-based magic = nothing atm - a magic attack that does 'melee' damage and has its accuracy reduced by high melee defence, but is negated by protect from magic (protect from melee does nothing).

Which one will the upgraded sword's special be?
