Everything was fine until the server reboot of 09/20/20. Every time I try to do the Yak Track event, or Treasure Hunter (keys) the 'client' locks up ("Runescape client has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available" error message comes up and I receive no solution...just a laptop that's stuck and I have to go through a lot of trouble just to get the game to close and get back to my desktop. I tried manually turning off my computer. When I turn it back on, the launcher is still there, stuck. The only way I can get out of the stuck error message/'client/launcher whateveh..., I have to ctrl-alt-delete to get to the task manager to get 'unstuck'. I've uninstalled the launcherclient numerous times. Many years ago I downloaded it from Firefox. I checked technical issues in Support, where it was suggested I try downloading from another browser. Did so, from Google. Still having problems when trying to do Yak event although no longer, ATM, having issues w/Treasure Hunter. Like said, this all started as soon as the latest reboot. Is anybody else having these problems? They happen/ed when I click on anything in the lobby, as well as 'upgrades and extras' on the 'management window'. On top of those problems, after I finally get the launcher to close, my 'favorite' worlds disappear and I have to 'favorite' them again. I'm reporting these issues here because I'm not sure if the problems are a 'bug' or technical issue. Oh, and yes, I cleared my cache, each time I re-downloaded and installed the launcher/client. Any suggestions or someone looking into these problems would be greatly appreciated. However!! Unknowingly I did manage to do the first Yak Track task...Archaeology, but can't claim the reward. Sigh. Again, tyvvvm for any and all attention to this matter
A restart is scheduled for 14.00 in-game time. This might resolve the yak-track issue, but I'm not sure about the Treasure Hunter issue that you're having.
