Apparently there was a major, massive treasure hunter bug with the current promo that ends on November 9th. How did this get past Q&A? Did Jagex not learn from the previous TH bugs and exploits? Will bug abusers actually get banned, and will bug abusers that were especially hard on the exploit get permanent bans? This is a hot topic that needs a thread on the forums, please don't lock this thread. Let's discuss this issue.

OT: If jagex are going to ban ppl hopefully they dont announce it as the issues of acc are between the holders and jagex.

The amount of gp injected into the economy, as well as all the xp gained causing many players to enter higher level pvm and activities effects everyone.. It is not just an issue of the account holders and jagex. Where do you take a sick horse?

This is a bland new promotion with a totally new mechanics. There is no correlations to any other "previous" promotion. I don't know what bug abuse OP tried to talk about? Doesn't he mean buy bonds with gp, get memberships, farm more gp with bot armies by spinning flax, crafting runes, fishing sharks and mining rune rocks and such to destroy the economy? No, RS3's economy doesn't work like that with TH as rarely can one cash out for items/gp which worths more than a TH key in gp value.

Apparently it was possible to receive the cash bag over and over at no cost of keys. Time stamp of a picture shows one per second with around 1m gp per go. That was the smartest play and also could been gained on an alt and dumped, so since it would take a lot of time to "punish" lol this gets swept under the rug, but seriously find the pic with the bug use on money bag and you'll lose interest in this game if nothing is done.

Also no one should ever fear being punished in the future. Complete stupidity to allow this jagex.

Of course it is not possible because you aren't able to type so fast and get a large Cash Pouch every time.

Of course you don't get any response in the RSOF because you should file a bug report if you think it is a bug.
