There are 5 different gem colors. The white, yellow, and orange gem prizes each have 3 holes you must fill with prizes, while the red gems get two holes and purple only one.
Once you've selected 12 prizes, you should be good to go.
Note you can change which prizes might come up next at anytime. Just click the gem of the color group of prizes you wish to change above the list of prizes. Then on the right-hand side click all the prizes for that gem color you want to remove. Then click on the prizes in the list to add them to the cleared holes as before. Repeat for each color gem you want to change the prizes for.
