How about dealing with the Twitch BS? Over-reliance on a service which works in only a few countries is absolutely ridiculous, and bordering on racist considering how many countries exist in the world. Believe it or not, there is more to the world than the USA, Canada, UK and Germany. God, they don't even support the entire of Europe.

Why is it a problem? Because Amazon don't like equality too much. They made their name by forcing the little guys out of business. Amazon (and therefore twitch) don't give a damn about the people. It's a problem, because all the Twitch promotions you're doing aren't available to most of the world. And the ones that are (watch Runescape streams to receive free goodies), you can't even do because Runescape refuses to connect to the twitch account. Errors every single time when trying to link my accounts.

Couple things to say.

1 - This year I believe Jagex profited about 20 million dollars from TH?? If this is correct than it just makes me more dumbfounded. Runescape had more loyal, active players back in ~2007 when they probably weren't even raking in 1 million. Most updates were awesome and the game was still "magical." So come on jagex, knock the dollar signs out of your eyes, talk with the playerbase, and release some good updates.

2 - For the people who want them to remove TH, it WILL NOT happen. Like I said, they profited over 20 million dollars, no company in their right minds is gonna get rid of that source of income. So just face it... It sucks obviously and let's hope they do a good job and making it work. But just accept the fact that it's part of the game now.

All in all, I think Jagex is at the point where they want to tell us "we cannot get rid of MTX, stop asking, the Chinese will shut us down completely, ect" but they can't just outright say that..

Mod Balance said :

The balance we try to strike is that MTX is a major part of the game’s income and directly relates to the amount we can invest into its continued development.

This is the biggest lie of all. Let's compare RS3 to OSRS:

- OSRS delivers more frequent updates
- Updates on OSRS are received more positively
- OSRS has one small team, whereas RS3 has many teams

You know what the difference is? OSRS listens, while RS3 pretends to listen.

To emphasize: You do not need more developers, you do not need more money, you need better priorities.

This is all good news if true, but we’ve heard all of this before, i’d also like to know how far in the future is “mid to long term” because that’s really vague. Also regarding another survey... how do you not know what we want by now you’ve had so many surveys? Save yourself some time because nothing voted for in the survey ever happens anyway.
