Why bother? Just adapt the OG to be recolourable. Why waste extra data space for excess models when you already have two readily available? Customization can also be all about OPTIMIZATION. I'm not disagreeing with your idea either - just about adding it in a different way, but to the same end result. ;) Clan:

Yeah that would be cool. They are going to have to come back with the og gem stuff first, seeing how shadow allready came back. Rares are the foundation of Runescape. Its what seperates it from all other games, and makes it truly unique. One of a kind game. ;) possibilities are endless.
