However, really nobody is really concerned about odds anymore. More than 2 years ago games developers and publishers began to reveal odds in China, and subsequently the odds have been reported elsewhere soon but "big surprise" that nobody is surprised.
Realistically, people really don't care about odds as long as the RNG surprise is not all-or-nothing. So what if the odds to get the top przee is 1 in 667 if the most common prize is a very useful xp lamp?
Besides, the really hot "gambling" mechanics in town is not just loot boxes. Developers like Take Two have jumped into in-game casinos with both feet:
