the removal of cosmetics, slayer masks, and skill outfits is a horrible idea. i guess youre banking on keys still being relevant because of the xp and gp drops but honestly, they wont. there are more maxed players than ever and that number will only increase as time goes on. the 50m gp drop is a joke as both myself and every1 else ive played with has never gotten the 200m drop, 1000% of zero is still zero. the only reason i personally ever bought keys were to obtain the unique event cosmetics (obviously) and the skilling outfits/slayer masks. youve completely eliminated 2/3 of the reasons atleast one of your customers would pay for them and if the recent event schedule is any indicator, the amount of unique cosmetics will be so oversaturated the almost completely lose value. dont get me wrong, id love to be able to unlock the assassin walk for less than a billion or more gp, but it seems most others would become so common that no1 would bother paying for keys.

only way to get them now is skilling to unlock the ones u can with fragments or buy from vic when he shows up or the one u can use a bond to perm unlock i forget his name mic or something close to vic same with the slayer masks either save bxp for vic or do shattered worlds

It's about time Jagex started listening to its loyal fanbase and removed all cosmetics from the game.

This is just step 1.

Eventually all cosmetics will be removed and we will actually be able to play the real game without all those nasty distractions.

People who like cosmetics aren't real fans.

Yea like said in another thread, having to rely on vic is one of the worst things they can do as how are ppl at lower lvls supposed to get enough credits to get the outfits?

So IMO considering anyone at any lvl could get them off TH and you dont have to rely on others to appear at minigames, it makes little sense to remove them.

Plus theres the fact that im sure they make some profit with them on TH so why are they abandoning said profit?

You do know anything can be considered a "cosmetic" right due to keepsake keys?

So unless you want all armor/weapons removed, i dont see this ever happening. Even hypothetically.

Untrue. lol. But true sadly in many cases. Some "cosmetic wearers" are just trying to "show off", not actually be good at the game - many of them just gold farmers and scammers trying to "look cool" - not that they actually are cool people. Most aren't. Obviously. Being as selfish and self-deluded as they can be. Clan:

sooo looks like youre just too lazy to get these. fun fact, my main has all but the arch set, since it hasnt played since the skill was added, and only the black ibis outfit was something it got outside these sources, and that was through trading BXP through Vic.
