They were pretty good to me, as I recall. I had a little better than average luck with them.

However, I wouldn't encourage you, or anyone, to buy keys. It just seems whenever somebody does, it's the same story. They buy a bunch of keys and use them to win a few good prizes, maybe even a great prize or two if they're lucky, but they also receive a LOT of small stars and other assorted crap.

There may be some who won many great prizes and very little crap with bought keys. I do not recall reading such stories though. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Lava lanterns are my favourite promo... They essentially give 2* xp divided between regular xp and bxp- but still, it's 2* xp imo.

Smouldering lamps are great but they're not 2* like lava lanterns.. They're 1* and convert 1* bxp into xp.

These two work very well together.

I really liked the last promo Phoenix lamps... They're like smouldering lamps but you keep some when used.. I spent about 300m on 15 bonds but I wasn't reallllly happy... The lamps are good, it's just that they're seemed less common than a smouldering lamp promos lamps... Idk, maybe I had bad luck...

But overall, if you're ure training all skills... Celebration lamps are best tbh.

Bubbling lamps are just regular lamps with a +0.4% added if used for bxp. I'm not into them at all. Skillet? Skill no.

So much moot.

I don't need xp so Double Dragon Chests and Loot Duel are better promotions to me.

If OP is strictly comparing lamps for xp then I'll say Smouldering Lamps seem to be pretty nice since they give you the xp of a regular lamp and also automatically convert the same amount of your bonus xp to real xp. Good for lazy players. :)

The Bubbling Lamp promo also offers a chance of getting gilded chests, which hold 4X prizes. I forgot to mention that before. The one day this promo was active a few days ago, I used my one key, and won the Dark Helm. Like I said, this promo has been good to me.

I agree with Dilbert regarding Loot Duel. That's one of my favorite promos. I always go for the antique chest, when it's an option.
