There is nowhere suggesting the "real price" you think. It won't matter anyway in this discussion because even a piece of 1.5m-2m worth of cosmetic is still very valuable comparing to the regular tradeable prizes from TH like a cash pouch of 10k or 100k.
If you want px rewards then pick the xp reward prize instead of the cosmetic one. Please be reminded again, you have 3 choices of prizes, always, for every TH key.

Actually in a way theres 4 prizes you can get as you also forego the tokens and choose the oddment "prize" instead.
