pointless restriction

It is because this is how the game works with resetting daily game features. For many events/game features (e.g. free daily alching with Explorer's Ring) the new day doesn't reset at the 00:00 server time until you log out.
It is also because this is how most time sensitive updates are programmed. The game won't get updated without us relogging. There are also other game features like SGS which automatically log you out of the game too.

Sorry to break this to you, I wrote "resetting daily game features", not "daily about the list".
And even more sorry to break this to you, Jagex log you out of the game every time you access SGS too but this is the way how they program the game. It won't matter if just one person say it is all "wrong" or right.

Sorry to break this to you, I wrote "resetting daily game features", not "daily about the list".
And even more sorry to break this to you, Jagex log you out of the game every time you access SGS too but this is the way how they program the game. It won't matter if just one person say it is all "wrong" or right.
