TH has ruined RS3. That's all I need to say really. Locking rare's behind MTX, basically gambling, people can be spending hundreds of pounds for something that will be worth 200m, cough purple halloween mask cough. Luckily, I only bought 15 keys and saved 40 through challenges, I will no longer be spending any money on TH, ever again. Rumours going round that you'll also be changing daily TH buy limits to 10 from 60.

TH is gambling and a way for people with loads of money IRL to max skills without even playing. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Yes, it lines your pockets but ruins a lot of people's gaming experience. For someone that's been playing almost 20 years, I can see the effects TH is having on RS, it is ruining the game.

Truthfully, it's really just a sign of the times with MMO's. Bonds on OSRS have debatably devalued that gameplay on that topic then, as well :P .

As Draco essentially stated, as tragic as it is, financial gain will always trump game integrity to some extent to ensure the boat keeps afloat -- one way or another. To keep the game online longer, we just need to accept this. Various-deemed unfair advantages over others have been around for years prior, anyways.

I think there are two sides to this. Jagex needs a system like TH to continue to support its business. From the player's perspective, I rejoined Runescape after a long hiatus and having the ability to purchase or take surveys for keys and help push some of my skill levels further lets me catch up with the majority of players that remain that are either maxed out or close to it. Be Happy :)

^I just see this as a company wanting to make money off their own product.

Last i checked jagex should be more than able to do so.

lol.

Jagex on a legal stance is open to many anti-gambling lawsuits, world legal system has already fallen in bais and corruption from my viewing.

^whats next, they going to hire editors to change the meaning of gambling to "only happens in a casino/club outlet"....

TH is gambling, no legal team that is of true law can miss such a thing. Those in UK who approved loot boxes as not gambling, should face life in prison for treason against the kids.

----

World is changing, New Era is Rising. NO ONE is getting away with anything.

----

I remember the day i bought fury shark off TH, it is 100% gambling lol. "stop or continue, continue already 40$ in, best to get the rest, more keys later 1 piece left"....

I bet i gotten 300 air runes 5 times......i'm 99 runecrafting.....if i wanted Air runes, i could just craft or buy them....I mean 'buy them with in-game money not IRL money'.....

If any legal team wants all corruption notes against MTX in games and who allowed such and why?... it will be freely given. Hint: any casino owner would love a kid to be exposed to such, turns them into a future customer.

Money talks, Information is dangerous in the wrong hands. Everyone is being watched, thoughts, motives....reasons for why this was done vs that....choices are dangerous if done wrongly for the wrong reasons....what if people knew? what if that info was shared?

^ That alone has jagex is such a snag, think back, further back, updates were 'stalled' because of MTX updates. break a law 30 years ago, can still be convicted 50 years later. MTX changes mean nothing is the eye of the true legal system.

Lets hear what the parents have to say? i know what they will say.....downfall of so many. You trusted them, they betrayed you and lied to you.....legal system is going to crumble soon.

Exactly.

All TH is here for is so ppl can be on equal par with everyone else.

If you dont feel like using it then dont. Nothing and no one is stopping you.

TH definitely help Jagex to survive. See how OSRS's negative growth (-7%) comparing to +20% from RS3 then we have a clear picture.

Without TH, RS3 will have a much lower growth rate. It may still survive through other means like richer content but the domino effect for Jagex a a whole will lead to the death of the faltering OSRS and its replacements by new and non-Runescape franchise games with lots of MTX.
