Is this point being Jagex is willing to share update details with us before announcing them to the community? Is this so we use this info to tease the update ourselves on our fansites?

I'm confused here.

Well, according to what was said on RuneFest, we were meant to have a chance of receiving update teasers for the big updates in one respective month.
