So one of our staff members was asking us if we are allowed to advertise the website in game. I wasn't actually sure where you all stand with this currently and was hoping you could shed some light on the matter?

Advertising your fansite ingame... that one is still a touchy subject if you're not a Jagex approved fansite. But I am sure you can say the name of your fansite. I don't think Jagex mind us doing that.

But giving the full url I would not do it, especially if Jagex Bot Watch filter might mute you.

What I heard you are only allowed to mention your fansite in conjunction with an event. Of course mentioning "Fansite" is still a word and would not likely get you muted. Altought Fansite.com sounds more likely to get muted for.

The only exception is if your fansite is top tier. Those you are welcome to mention if I am not mistaken. Clan leader of DreamTeam - A Swedish RS Clan
