Hey!

Today we've indeed received the recognised badge for our (Dutch) fansite. (They're looking awesome btw!) But it made us question something. Will foreign language fansites also be able to upgrade themselves to the approved badge with this system/in the near future? We, Lunagang, are a really hard working fansite to keep up with everything like many other foreign language fansites. We easily meet the requirements sended in the email for being an approved fansite, but yet we're ''stuck'' on being a recongnised fansite since we're a foreign language fansite.

As far as I've read we can not even promote events anymore via Jagex since that's something for approved fansites only according to the email, or am I wrong here?

Many foreign language websites would like the approved badge. Is there nothing really possible on giving foreign fansites the upgrade to approved?

We are not able to provide Approved status to a foreign language fansite as we are not able to support them directly, in the way we would expect to with an English language Approved site. The Recognised status does provide an "other support" catch all that would include event promotion and similar provisions for exactly those non-English language fansites who are in this situation.

The badges have now been sent out to the recognised sites with some info updates! Let me know if you don't get one and were expecting one :)

Hi,

Francoscape did not receive the new badge.

Please email to the fansites email address and we'll send one back to you.
