I was just wondering how the rest of you organize your fan site team and what purposes each person serves.

For /r/2007scape:

There are 3 subreddit moderators who

-are in charge of everything involving the subreddit/clan chat
-are responsible for making sure all content follows rules and is safe

2 event coordinators who

-collect feedback for future events
-plan future events/activities
-constantly try to find ways of improving events

~15 clan chat moderators who

-monitor clan chat to fight spam/flaming

What about the rest of you? What does your fan site team consist of?

The RSW has a lot of individuals that can administrate on the wiki.
Everyone works independently of each other these days on their own projects.

There are 3 active bureaucrats and 10 inactive who:

• can flag other users as bots (hide revisions from Special pages)
• can give other users sysop (passing a Request for Administrator by consensus)
• can make other users bureaucrats (same as sysop, but harder to reach consensus)
• have same GroupRights as sysops

There are 14 active administrators/sysops and 59 inactive who:

• block other users, protect pages, delete pages, delete revisions, move pages
• change local CSS and JS, change other users CSS and JS, change MediaWiki pages
• moderate Special:Chat, move files, modify AbuseFilter, search delete pages
• block themselves (has happened)
• unblock themselves (more often than blocking themselves)
• edit the mobile application (to a degree) for iOS and Android
• make other users custodians

There are 5 checkusers who are also administrators who:

• can check the IP information of a editor and other information (to look for sock-puppetry or mass vandals); checks in place to make sure it's used appropriately

There are 67 users who are custodians who:

• can move files, search deleted pages (if given delete token)
• not affected by rate limits (same as sysops), suppress redirects

There are 14 bots which who:

• of which 5 are automated
• 9 are manual (AWB)
• write to the API, higher API limits, not affected by rate limits

There are 3 users who are part of the events team.

There are many more UserGroups, however they are controlled by Wikia Staff.
Still would love to see some
Authenticated users
sometime in the future; Jagex staff that have accounts on the Wiki (I know Michelle edits under the Jagex IP & another has an account but never/rarely edits).

We have an org-chart: http://www.runetime.com/index.php?/page/about_us.html

Quite a few of the positions are still open - we plan filling them carefully and only when we have an exceptional proven candidate for each role. I think it pays to be professional and not just promote your friends into roles where they may not really fit!

/r/runescape:

3 full-permission mods, who have full permissions. Two of these mods are primarily administrative and general moderation, the third does the subreddit CSS and graphical design.

4 other mods (including myself) who have all permissions except +config. This group does general moderation, and community interaction and events. I also do the subreddit wiki.

1 bot (/u/AutoModerator) whose job is to enforce the domain blacklist, the user shadowban list, and a few other easily automated rules. AutoModerator has full permissions but does not use all of them.
