Would it be possible to get a full folder of all the in game item icons? I know this file would be pretty large but it would be nice to have for some Fansites who is still building their item icon database. This would be a big help to have it all in one folder, which can be used for new or bronze tier fansites even silver tier fansites.

Honestly I like to respect everyone's images, and the time they spent uploading it to their sites. I just much rather have it as a pack, since Jagex has a folder full of them and I don't see it hard to just making it accessible to Fansites.

Also when you have 1000+ images to get, kinda really make it hard to copy in one go, and also something I don't want to do since I have respect for all fansites and much rather find a different way of obtaining these images.

I think a dropbox would work a lot for fansites and something that can be maintain over time.

Icon pack has been around for a long time now... Just go to Game Info > Downloads and scroll down to the bottom.

No. As fansites, we respect each other and each other's content. Copying things from other fansites, even if they are images, is not acceptable within the fansite community.

Information/image swaps are sometimes done between two fansites with consent on both sides, though.

Tip.It's images are individually captured, edited, and uploaded, because the ingame GE icons differ from the ingame backpack icons (shadows, etc).

It saddens me that you consider it okay to skip this manual work and just re-upload our images as your own.

Also, the item pack contains GE website images, not ingame images.

I feel that making scripts such as that is just taking the harder approach which I think as Fansites we should be given some area to download the images which will help us with our Fansite databases.

I am aware of those icons, but it is not updated enough to include newer icons, which is something that is lacking when it comes to newer fansites joining the RuneScape Fansite Community.

Most of you have made some great post on this matter as ways around to getting these item images/icons. But I really think that as fansites we should have some level of support when it comes to getting new icon images which has been added to the game, which also range from inventory icon images and as well as tradeable icon images.

When it comes to a fansite building up their item image database and most of these images are non tradeable which means they have to search to get these images really takes a lot of time especially when you are unable to get certain quest related items because you either have done the quest already or have to do a lot of searching to find all the items that if used within that quest.

To me I think it would be helpful for fansites to have some area to obtain these images in which lets them know when new images has been added to a certain file.

I think a fansite Dropbox file share account would be helpful for things like this which can be used to allow fansites to download icon images packs... I know a few ideas of how this can fully...

I know a few ideas of how this can fully, which comes with a level of trust between Jagex and Fansites. But this can only work if fansites are willing to help each other, which is in some since asking for a lot.

Idea's:

1. As a Platinum Tier fansite you have fully develop your Site which means you work even more closely with Jagex and can help as a mentor to fansites to help them build their images database, this means that you can help Jagex/Fansite Curator update the Fansite Dropbox files by uploading newer images that has not been uploaded by Jagex/Fansite Curator.

2. The Fansite Curator can just update the Fansite Dropbox files monthly which can help keep fansite icon images up to date with any new changes to icons.

These idea's do seem alot to ask for and I doubt it would be used, but this would help new Fansites or even Silver/Gold tier fansites really keep their icon images up to date, and it helps build a large image data base over time which can be used for as long as Dropbox is there, or Jagex make a page for fansites to download new image icons.

But I feel as fansites we should be willing to work together to build a one source image icon file which can help newer fansites or even Silver/Gold Fansites. This will also be a way for fansites who has support have a opportunity to work together in help pitch in by uploading or give feedback on missing images.

Again this is only a idea, which I know is unlikely to happen... But it would be nice and helpful since the Fansite Icon's in the download page on RuneScape is rarely updated.

There is a fansite dropbox. I've lost the details to it (but can still access it from the url bar). I don't think it's updated anymore. Last time they talked about it was during the Battle of Lumbridge - it had concept art and stuff. It was pretty cool.

Why do you have to be a platinum fansite to help out with the files in the dropbox? If you're going to make it so that players can submit too, why not let everyone who has access to it? Then we can quickly compile inventory icon images rather than rely on like one person.

Having a place where we can share images would be cool. Also it would be cool if the dropbox was used again.
